Sammy's Restaurant

Fantastic people and fantastic Diner! I ordered Eggs over medium, w/ bacon, a waffle and coffee. Everything was fantastic, and the owner (Naz and her mother Moon) and staff are friendly and have a beautiful story of how this classic diner was resurrected to life during the tough times of C-19. I highly recommend coming to Sammy's Family Restaurant if you are in the Sacramento area!!!

I've been dying to try this place . I'm not a Sacramento native so I can't compare it to the previous service and quality , BUT I can say this place is so clean, it's refreshing to see all the servers and staff in uniform. Naz, the owner / manager came with great experience, first met her at lil Joes seems like most the servers came with her. I ordered the waffle sandwich (BEC, sprinkled with powdered sugar and syrup) comes with a side of hash browns . Delicious. It's super spacious yet cozy . Will definitely be back.

Looks and feels like a traditional diner. Very clean restaurant and friendly staff. They clearly had some regular customers because the staff was on a first name basis with some folks. Which gave it a homey feel :)I had the spinach mushroom Swiss omelette and My husband had the chicken and waffle which were both delicious! The pancake balls were hot and fluffy yet dense in the center. Delicious! The price point is about on par with other diners. Good food, good service. We will definitely be back to try their dinner options.

It's great to see Sammy's come back in North Sacramento. Del Paso Vet restaurant for breakfast and lunch. Naz and her mother have done a great job of bringing it back serving great food super great service. Today I had the chicken waffles, which were fantastic, the chicken was fried perfectly and some kind of sauce along with a nice fluffy waffle and two slices of bacon so just a perfect amount of food. They serve Diet Coke, which is important to me And I assume the coffee is good cause I see a lot of people drinking it. Try to eat here once a week support local business Naz and her mother and I've seen they had a couple weight staff which is a good sign so. Check it out come to Sammy's have a good breakfast lunch and enjoy your time.

It's always good at Sammy's the owner is so nice and kind. I love that there is food for everyone's from lunch to breakfast. There buggers are amazing.

I've passed Sammy's a couple times and have been wanting to come and check it out. So glad I did because the food and service were both great! The chorizo burrito is so good! They also have mimosas here so don't be afraid to ask. The owner is so sweet and it's clear she values customer engagement. I'll for sure come back again.

I just want to say it I recently rediscovered Sammy's restaurant on Del Paso Boulevard and I'm very glad I did the atmosphere the food everything about this place is amazing I eat at a lot of different diners but not anymore this is where I come five stars for sure

In reference to the review by Stephanie D.:Sammy's is under a new owner who IS NOT a "HE", but a mother/daughter team and the food IS WONDERFUL. Stephanie Ds review was from the previous owner and should be removed. Nez, the new owner is an absolute delight.This is a much needed addition of joy to the Boulevard!

This is an amazing family owned restaurant. The food was sooooo good and the prices just right. My whole family enjoyed our experience. We stayed and ate for about two hours as the family provided us with their warm hospitality and opportunities to try several other items. Sammy's is now a regular for our dining out.Miles Family
