I love owner operators!!!! The warmth of the owners, the atmosphere and the food were all amazing. I asked for recommendations and three customers all gave me their opinions (all different) which means everything is good. I had the Italian beef dip. Sounds simple but the owner Rob did something special bc it was the best I have ever had. I will come here again, like a lot.

Today I had the pleasure of eating at Saluti's for lunch in Jackson, CA. The staff was very friendly and atentative throughout my meal. The dining room is intimate, personal and has a nice welcoming feel to it. I started with the split Pea soup and ordered the cheese ravioli with spinach and mushroom cream sauce and it was absolutely delicious. The cheese Ravioli was cooked just right, the fresh spinach and mushrooms gave the cream sauce flavor for days. The very tasty split pea soup had nice chucks of ham in it and the crunchy garlic bread was great.I will be be back again soon.

We tried Saluti's beause of the star reviews. Our table had the shrimp scampi, lasauna, italian sausage with penne. There were 5 of us and all of the food came out at the same time piping hot. The minnestone was full of fresh vegetables. Delicious. Everyone raved about their dishes. Prices were very resonable. The restaurant is owned by a husband and wife. They were both welcoming and super friendly. 5 stars for the quality and flavor of the food and 5 stars for their hospitality. We had the tirmishu and it was also awesome, so fresh and delicious. We are from Rocklin and the Folsom area and definately will be going back very soon. A diamond of a restaurant in Jackson.

My family was on way to Kirkwood to go ski. We decided to spend the night in Jackson which is 1 hr from Kirkwood. Its a small town where we found this family-operated italian place. Its on opposite direction of the downtown. A small place with limited seating, we had to wait 10-15 min to get a table. It was worth the wait. They had 2-4 vegetarian pasta options and a couple of flatbreads/pizza options but they were not available for dinner. We ordered a ravioli and a pasta dish that both came with side of house salad and garlic bread. Both preparations were very good. Their soups are made in chicken broth, so not recommended for vegetarians. Their wine was good as well. All in all only few options available for vegetarians but they all taste very good.

Was visiting the area for the weekend and discovered this small Italian spot we wanted to check out for dinner. It doesn't have a lot of tables but there were some seats outdoors for warmer days I assume. Got seated right away and we ordered the meatballs with polenta as an appetizer. The meatballs were soft and flavorful but the polenta wasn't my favorite it felt a bit too heavy. I ordered the shrimp scampi and my boyfriend ordered the pasta milano. The portions were huge but it was an okay pasta dish. A lot of components going on so it wasn't the best pasta I've ever had but still a solid spot. We also got a bottle of wine to share which was great but didn't pair too well with the food we ordered.

If I could give zero stars I would, my mom and a friend of ours. We were up in Jackson filming a commercial for the casino. We stopped in here to grab a bite to eat. It is a very small restaurant. Unfortunately, the sandwiches were no longer being prepared. We asked about them. She proceeded to tell us that it had been that way for years and we said oh we're sorry we're not from here and she just kind of gave us a dirty look we decided to order an appetizer, and then she very rudely asked us if we would be purchasing anything else and we all said no we're okay. She takes our menus from us proceeds to go into the kitchen slamming a dish around and then proceeds to talk to the other waitress with what seems to be about us, seeing as they were both staring at us giving us dirty, looks horrible service rude people would never come back and would never recommend.

Went in to eat, they were busy and we were super excited because we had heard good things. The waiting area overlooks the kitchen. I watched the cook reach into his pants, scratch his "leg" and then touch the garlic bread he was plating for a customer. No gloves, nothing. He then used the same hand to wipe his nose and grab a plate to plate the food. I looked at my husband and was like "nope, that's okay, we can go." Not sure if he was the owner, but he was also yelling at the waitresses, and he even made a snarky comment about her sitting us outside in the cold or something like that. We won't be back, but honestly that's a shame because we were so excited to try it in the first place.

What a hidden treasure! Saluti's is one of the best Italian restaurants we've ever eaten at. Don't be fooled by its humble location. When you enter through their doors, you'll be overtaken by the most aromatic smelled of Italian food. one local customer said that "everything on the menu is excellent"!The meals we ordered were chicken Marsala, chicken with basil cream pasta, Italian sausage pasta dinner, and the salmon with polenta; desserts-tiramisu and vanilla bean cheesecake with a caramel drizzle....all excellent! Saluti's is a family run restaurant whose customer service is second to none. They are genuinely concerned about each customer and you can feel their sense of pride. We highly recommend this restaurant for your lunch or dinner. Call first to check on hours of operation.I think they are closed Sundays and Mondays.
