Sal's Kabob & Gyro Grill

Updating review. A few years ago their hours were hit and miss but things have gotten better. We've been coming here for years and no other places can compare to their gyros. Wish I could get the recipe for the marinated used on the chicken, it's so good!Staff is always quick and friendly too :-)

Sal's Kabob Gyro Grill is hands down the best Mediterranean food in town! Our family has been coming here for years, and every visit feels like coming home. Sal, the owner, is always so welcoming and kind to us. He treats every guest like family, and it makes the whole experience even more special.Now, let's talk about the food--absolute perfection! The lamb kabobs are cooked to juicy perfection, full of flavor, and just melt in your mouth. We also love the chicken shawarma; it's seasoned so well, and the garlic sauce that comes with it is heavenly. The gyros are packed with fresh ingredients, and don't even get me started on the hummus! Creamy, rich, and paired with the best warm pita bread you'll ever taste.If you're looking for authentic, delicious Mediterranean cuisine with an owner who genuinely cares about his customers, look no further than Sal's. We're lucky to have found this gem!

The food here is always excellent! I've had good gyros elsewhere but Sal's is special, a step above the others. Friendly, fast service as well.

Just so consistently good! Had another large catering order and Sal made it so easy and accommodating! Food was ready on time and nicely packaged for the party. Overall, great experience and food is SO consistent which I can appreciate.

Called in combo (chicken/steak) platter. As soon as you walk in the restaurant, you can smell the flavors in the food. Staff very friendly. The protein was good. You can specify spice level.

Quick and friendly service immediately upon entering. The lamb kabob plate was excellent! Very succulent and flavorful cubes of lamb along with rice, salad, hummus, tzatziki sauce and warm pita bread. I love that it came with grilled red onions and tomatoes. It's a great value for $17. I was thoroughly satisfied and will definitely return.

I had a chicken Gyro from this place today and NEVER AGAIN!!!!! The cashier asked if I'd like Spicey? And what level of spice heat. Aside from the chicken having all this BRIGHT RED DYE on it there was ZERO level of spiceness. I'm from the westcoast (IL) and I've NEVER seen ANYTHING SIMILAR to what I got today being called a Gyro. What a WASTE of $12 for that JUNK!! People DONT WASTE your coins on ordering thst mat GARBAGE called Gyro. UKKKKK!!!!!

Our first time at this restaurant. It was recommended and we now know why. We ordered a combo shawarma with fries and drink. The dish was very flavorful. The staff were kind and our order delivered to our table. The space has both indoor and outdoor seating. Although a little dated, everything about this place is pleasant. This will be added to our rotation.We tried the baklava. The honey, nutty dessert is nice!

Omfg the meat in this place is honestly out of this world best gyro grill in the area and I am not just talking around here honestly best I've had and I am from San Jose kuddos to this place ambience is positive and food is delicious must try definitely putting in my book marks when i am on this side of town

Great food. Don't dine in though ... The music on TV is just too much. Not appropriate for kids or anyone really. Serving halal food is great but please make sure the environment is also halal.
