Salo’s Taqueria

WOW. What a Treat! I moved to this area about two years ago. Not sure when it opened but I kept thinking about coming here to try out the place. It finally happened. It was an ugly weather night. We were the only two people in the building. We were greeted very warmly by a gentleman with a Niners jersey on. He took our food & beverage order and told us that we could sit anywhere and he would be over to bring us our sodas, chips and salsa. They have a variety of beers available. Normally I have tacos - because tacos are, well Tacos are TACOS! But both my wifey and I decided that this time we're going to take a chance and order BURRITOS! I Had the carnitas burrito that in addition to the aforementioned protein, has rice and beans and cheese and sour cream - i held the SC off. Wifey had the carne asada Burrito which I believe has the same ingredients and she asked for "easy" on the SC.The burritos are made and then Grilled. I have to say that these were AWESOME Burritos. The Carnitas was fresh and very flavorful. It was shredded and not all chopped up. The other ingredients were good tasting and seemed to be in good balance, that's to say there wasn't too much of one and not enough of the others. The Carne asada was also very flavorful and in this case was chopped up, but that's he way it's supposed to be. The other ingredients were just like the other burrito - flavorful and in good balance. Our Host/Waiter was very attentive, he checked on us a couple of times, and refilled our beverages every time it was needed. The Restaurant was very clean and smelled great!! We chatted with our Host and told him that we had been meaning to come in but just never got around to it - but were so glad that we finally did. We will definitely be back. And knowing how I am - will become a regular here!!

Oh my goodness. This $12 burrito ended up costing me almost $16 including delivery from DoorDash. Even if I were to pick it up myself , it's not nearly close to worth $12! Super tiny and hardly any filling. Mind you, I paid extra for avocado and sour cream and without that, this burrito would be more of a taquito! Definitely not going back. Beware If you're expecting a satisfying breakfast burrito.

Loved the food and ambience. The restaurant had a great vibe to it and was really clean. The food was great and the staff were friendly. Would come back again for some more tacos!

Great Taco Tuesday spot (or any day)! We've gone a few times for takeout orders only. The guy at the register is so polite and kind. He's efficient but also patient and accommodating. One time, I called in my order with 5 minutes to closing time. I know...I hate people who do that! But he was willing to take my order and offered the same great service and food quality, when he could've easily said, "sorry we are about to close." I loved that and will continue to support their small business (during regular operating hours, of course). Street tacos are good. I like that everything, meat included, is finely chopped. To me, it makes the tacos taste better, and they are nicely presented, with all the condiments. One thing is that there is no salsa bar. I wasn't used to that, but they offer a delicious spicy red and mild green, and the green is actually mild but still flavorful. Add an horchata and jamaica, and we're good to go.It may be basic, but basic done right. Support Salo's Taqueria!

Had an appointment for n the area but had a lot of time to kill. Walked around the area and found this little mom and pop restaurant. Walked in and it was playing Mexican music. Clean and quiet place but had anything you would need for a good meal. Ordered the beef nachos and two birria tacos. Perfect amount of food for two adults to share and not be overly stuffed. Before the food came, chips and salsa were brought out for us to enjoy. The red salsa has a kick. Green salsa was my favorite. Nachos - we choose ground beef and beans. It had sour cream and guacamole. They melt the cheese on top for you. It is not nacho cheese sauce. I would add extra cheese next time for the cheese pull. The birria tacos were good. Nothing special about it. Just good. I would order them again. I would try another type of meat next time. I would recommend this place. The service, price and food were great. Give them a try if you are in the area.

Love this little Taqueria, they have the best Nachos around, street tacos are excellent as is the quesabirria and excellent prices as well

Shopping in the area and noticed this taqueria. Got some street tacos for taco Tuesday. I'll be back for dine in always nice to support a family business

It's a nice little hole in the wall. Quite and clean. The service was good and quick. The server checked in on us a couple of times. We ordered asada fries and 2 asada street tacos. They were both good. We'll go back if we lived in the area but we don't. We just happened to drive by and the kids were hungry. We ordered chicken nuggets for them...haha in a Mexican restaurant. I'm glad they had that option for some picky kids. The kids were excited about the fries because they haven't had fat ones before.

First time here! Very clean and inviting inside, nice artwork and bright colors. I felt at home! Food was out quickly, fresh and hot! Nice crisp to the tacos and meat was very tender. Ordered a combination plate with 2 crispy tacos 1 pollo and 1 carnitas comes with beans, rice and a drink. They also brought out chips and salsa. Chips were great, not store bought and the salsas were very flavorful, my coworker and I got a salsa refill. The coworker ordered a steak burrito and loved it as well. The server/cashier was very friendly and made our dining experience very pleasant. This is a must try!

This little place is a hidden gem for sure! Stopped in here for a quick bite between work appointments (out on the road today and didn't have much time). This little place fit the bill! Seating for dine in (perfect for my needs). Gal at the register recommended good choices and I had street tacos.... Carne asada and one carnitas. Chips and salsa (red and green) and my drink served while I waited at the table (ordered at the counter). Loved the spiciness of the red salsa and the flavor (milder) of the green. Tacos fit the bill... yummy flavor, good size portion, and fast service. I was able to order and eat in about 20ish minutes! Wish I had more time to savor my food, but I'd return if I'm in the area again!
