Saigon 88

I was really hoping this place would be a 5/5 for Pho Ga. Sadly, it's not my favorite place. It's good but not the best. The chicken was nice and tender but the broth flavor was not there.I will have to give it a try 1 more time though. Maybe it was an off day.

Saigon 88 has been around for a year ish now. They took over the location of what used to be Pho Le. The staff here are nice. Tried their chicken noodle soup and it was pretty good. My mom and aunt got the bun Bo hue and unfortunately their noodles were very undercooked and not edible. The staff were nice and let them get a new batch of noodles.

Best hainan chicken rice place in the area. I usually don't order chicken pho but this place's chicken pho is really solid...probably the best in the area too.This place has solid hainan chicken rice, chicken pho, and bun Bo hue. The chicken is tender and high quality (free range chicken). Chicken pho and bun Bo hue are equally solid, very good flavor profile. Oh and the chicken salad is pretty good too but can be flavorful (fish sauce and lime kind of dressing).Only thing is that sometimes the chicken can be inconsistent (there is a fine line between perfectly tender and slightly over cooked). A couple rare occasions I've been here the chicken was just a little more over cooked than it used to be. Since it's the highlight of the dish, just that small difference can make an impact between "wow that's good" and "okay." Working on consistency would bring this place to a solid 5/5. Service is attentive and fast. Ambiance is good. It has a cool, modern vibe. One suggestion would be that sometimes the tables or seats can be sticky still.Another suggestion would be to please open up the outdoor seating. There is a large fenced-in outdoor patio with tables that is currently being unused. There are limited restaurants that have the space for outdoor seating, and there is a population of customers that value that option. Opening up the outdoor seating is a low effort, high reward way to distinguish this restaurant from others, bring in more traffic, and up the vibes of a place.

Okay, this is one of the best chicken pho I've had in a minute. I love the fish sauce they had on the side. They need to brand their mix it was so good! The soup was a really clean and tasty broth. Did not taste like there was a ton of msg. And you can tell they used home range chicken for their meat. It was lean and had a nice texture to it. Also their vietnamese coffee is not there to play. It was so strong and immediately perked me up. It is a sit down style and the waiters were really attentive. I'm not gonna lie I came for lunch and might of gotten take out for dinner! Such an awesome addition to the pho scene in the Sac area

We finally got around to trying sitLo's new sister restaurant and we all left super satisfied! They look over the old Pho Le, so if you're familiar with this location, you know there is ample parking and space for larger parties too.There were 7 of us on a Friday night around 6pm. We were seated immediately, towards the back of the restaurant where is was quiet and spacious. We ordered right away, as the server was super patient with our order and even gave us extra pickled onions. Our food came out at a reasonable time and everything was piping hot and fresh.Most of us ordered the Number 1 with the chicken innards, which we loved the option to add. We also got the Hainan chicken rice to share and WOW, the rice was fantastic! All of our food was perfectly seasoned as well. We barely needed to add condiments to the soup!Must try: the garlicky, sweet, spicy sauce that's at each table. Whether you get a soup or rice dish, you must dip your chicken pieces into this! So umami and tasty!

Great food pretty consistent the bbh is good! Solid Vietnamese restaurant if you want pho ga, com ga, or Bbh.

Chicken pho, Vietnamese salad and chicken with rice is what we enjoy the most. Chicken is cooked perfectly and can say they have the best chicken pho in Sacramento. If you're craving for chicken and pho... you should go here.

Another pho spot that I was waiting to try. Came here on a Saturday with my family. I've been hearing great things about this place. I order the bun Bo hue, while my niece had the chicken pho. The broth was packed with a lot of flavors but the bun Bo hue was not as spicy as I hoped for. Typically at other pho restaurants, I don't need to add extra hot sauce but here I do. My niece love her chicken noodle soup, I will have to give that a try the next time I come in. The service was quick and our waitress checked up on a us a few times. Definitely give this place a try. Just a heads up, the menu is small and doesn't not carry items you typically see at a pho places.

Saigon 88 is a gem! The pho is flavorful and comforting. The staff is friendly, and the service is quick. Perfect spot for authentic Vietnamese cuisine. Highly recommend!

The chicken is succulent, the rice is sweet, the sauces are savory. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. This is my second time here, the first time I had their signature Phö, which was delicious. This time I had their chicken and rice platter, 10/10. I will be coming back soon.I recommend dining in, the mural on the back wall provides a peaceful experience as you eat.
