Safeway

We were in the area and needed a few groceries. There was plenty of parking and wasn't busy for around 5pm.The store was clean and well stocked. The seafood selection was good and the prices were reasonable.We needed stuff for a salad and we were able to find everything.Checkout was easy and there were no lines. They had just opened their gas station recently and had good prices.

I love there deli sandwiches but today is now the 2nd time I have had a problem with the guy who works at the deli are made a complete mess of mine and my husband sandwiches and didn't even listen to how we wanted them made there so hard to eat now and also everything is falling out of them and also listening to us at all. The Safeway was clean though from what I seen but we didn't go into the bathrooms. The staff is normally really nice and friendly and helpful and they do listen to what t you have to say

Pricy but always clean and stocked with my frozen dessert non dairy options. Helpful employees and we get in and out through self check.

It's April 2024... Most of today's *MILK/DAIRY* selections were dated March 2024. EXPIRED.Could this Safeway on Sunset and Pleasant Grove be the worst market in the area? So poorly managed?Proceeding to the deli section, I came across SALSA. Started to pick those up and they also were date-expired.I like the employees. The overall market itself is borderline dirty. Especially restrooms.Avoid this Safeway overall. Whole Foods or Nuggett Markets run circles around it.

Hubby and I stopped into this location yesterday morning heading to our weekend getaway, since I forgot my sunglasses at home and needed a new pair to protect my eyes from the sun. The staff were nice, but not very knowledgeable about what they have in stock. Their were no mirrors by their sunglasses you'd expect to see to pick out the right shape for your face before purchasing a nice pair of sunglasses. Not to mention the sunglasses, along with the rack by their customer service was very dusty, so I didn't end up purchasing any. I did on the other hand purchase some Safeway brand toothpaste that worked just as good as Sensodyne for a lot less money that we were in need of! And we were able to use the restroom before hitting the road, as well as deposit a check at US Bank inside!

I prefer this Safeway over the one on Sunrise in Roseville bc this store is larger and tends to have sale items in stock. The other safeway always seems to run out of sale items I wanted to review the food items they had at Safeway. I tried the salad combo- 1 protein item + 2 salads for $9. I got:Seafood salad w veggies (there's 2 types; both $9.99/lb): imitation crab + a few shrimp. Was probably my 2nd fave out of what I got. I liked the celery in it for the crunch. Chk+ cranberry salad (7.99/lb) was meh... i don't like green onions. Not much taste except for cranberries giving it sweetness. Good amt of chk if you like meat.General tso's chk ($ ??) as protein: terrible, too much breading, didn't even feel like i tasted chk in it at all for 90% of it. Deviled eggs potato salad: fave out of the bunch. not bad, prefer eggs a bit less hard. $5.99/lb. Would like celery in it. Found that they sell it pre-packaged in the grocery store section for $4.99 for 16oz, so I'll get that next time instead.Service at the sushi place, chinese hot food place, fried food place and salad place was good, everyone was very quick to ask if I'd been helped.Overall: service good, selection good, actual food: 2-3 stars probably won't buy again.

I came into Safeway on pleasant grove blvd with 2 coupons that I received for being new to the neighborhood. After I checked out I did not see the coupons deducted on my receipt. The manager was called and she tried to convince me they were deducted but not shown on receipt. Que was the manager who was very unfriendly and offered no apology. I did not appreciate the treatment by her, and her terrible customer service.

I ordered a cake for my moms birthday and picked it up today, it looks like a five year old decorated it. The service was good and the employees were nice and it was done on time but I wish someone would have told me they didn't have a decorator in to do the job. I would have purchased a pre decorated cake instead. There was another cake like this in the display with the balloons, these balloons do not look like the display ones did and the writing is just not what we wanted.

Lolita will make you the best sandwich! She placed our peppers, olives and pickles on a napkin first so they didn't soak our bread. Precision and deliciousness

Almost lost $200 cash in this location. But the nice employees turned it to guest services. Glad I was able to find this money, 10/10 great customer service.
