Went to another concert at this venue and it is very easy to get into as well as get a drink. Options are on a couple of levels. Staff are always helpful and friendly and always assist with finding your seat. There are multiple restrooms and other than during a break you do not have to wait in a long line. We usually sit in the orchestra area which gives a good view of the act on stage. I recommend this venue for a concert or play.

We really enjoyed our first outing at the Performing Arts Center to watch Romeo and Juliet Ballet. The Center is modern and grand with excellent decor, seating, and acoustics. The concession area and restrooms were very convenient. We all enjoyed the Ballet and look forward to coming back.

The performing arts center offers a great place to come for a wide variety of events. Tonight I came to see the Cirque Dreams Holidaze show. My review is the for the center itself. Its modern architecture and state-of-the-art facilities enhance the audience experience, while the intimate atmosphere fosters a strong connection between performers and attendees. They have 2 snack bar areas where you can get snacks, drinks and alcohol. Their concessions are a little pricey and you can bring items purchased inside the theater to enjoy. Overall, it stands out as a vital cultural institution that enriches the local arts scene and encourages artistic expression. I highly recommend going and enjoying a performance in the heart of Sacramento.

I've been seeing Broadway shows and comedy events at this venue for over three years now, but upon my most recent experience, may not be coming back. I'm a season pass holder and was excited to attend a recent Hamilton show with my family. There was a family of two adults and a child who had to be around the ages of 5-6 sitting directly in front of us. Throughout the show the dad kept playing on his phone, talking to her daughter, his daughter was climbing on the banister in front of her and even stood up a few times during the show without being told by her parents to sit back down. It was incredibly rude behavior and distracting from the show. I talked to an attendant during intermission, and two other family members of mine talked to some other attendants as well. The attendants said nothing could to done and they only speak to other guests if they're video taping or taking photos of the performance. The second half of the act the dad and his daughter talked off and on the entire show, he continued to be on his phone, and the show was completely ruined. My spouse even asked the dad if he could stop talking as we were in the theater and he did nothing. I'm incredibly hesitant to renew my Broadway season tickets here again or see any other show here. If people are on their phones, bring rude and non-stop talking during a show and NOTHING is done about it by the staff at the venue, that is a hard pass for me to ever return. Broadway tickets aren't cheap and I deeply feel that other guests should be able to have a positive experience as well- and that bad behavior should be addressed. Be warned that if someone is talking during a performance here next to you or being rude, nothing at this location will be done about it.

What a beautiful theater! I went to see Mrs. Doubtfire The Musical. Lots of concession stands & bathrooms...making it easy to get in/out of lines.

This place was in a good location with parking right across the street. The only thing is I thought the theater was a little small. I've been to a bigger theater to see the Nut Cracker and had assumed it was but it's ok. The seat we had were pretty good until someone taller sits in front of you which makes it hard to see. Over all we did have a nice time. Expect to pay the price for drinks and snacks they only take credit cards so for get the cash. Also it seems like they open the door an hour before the performance starts.

Enjoyable Shows, but Watch Out for Concession Prices!! Last night a little bottle of water was $5.50 plus the credit card reader asked for a tip ! Hello 2024. Anyway , I've been to several shows at this venue, and overall, it's been a great experience. The seating, even in the nosebleed section, offers a good view, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Navigating the venue is easy (it's not huge), there are a few parking garages nearby ( last night there were tons of street parking ), several restaurants close by to enjoy dinner before the show. Last night we saw a production of Six the musical about Henry the 8th ex wives . Lots of colorful lights , dance , and song ! Go catch a show :)

Good venue in downtown Sacramento. I went for the grinch musical. Fun performance! This place has a lot of seats and they are pretty spacious, which tall people like me can use and have some space. Everything is organized and clean including the bathrooms. Make sure you check for restaurant discounts if you're going out nearby.

This was a smaller venue for a concert I went to. Parking wasn't too bad and the sound in there was very nice

Visited to see the live film concert of Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. We parked a few blocks down the street and walked to the Performing Arts Center (not to be confused with the convention center!). Heads up that they don't sell meals here, just light snacks like popcorn, jerky, and soft drinks. The snack line was way too long so we skipped eating and just went to our seats. The ushers helped us find our way, but I felt like the seats were pretty cramped together. There wasn't a lot of room and I was scared of bumping elbows with the person next to me. When people had to get up to leave, I had to shift sideways so they could pass in front of me. I was also kinda upset that we couldn't take any photos or videos during the performance (not even without flash). I really just wanted to take a few clips of my favorite scenes, but the ushers watch the crowd and either 1) shine their flashlight at you or 2) block your phone camera and tell you to turn it off. I thought it was a little strict on that in my opinion. Other than that, the orchestra was really great. Love seeing HP film concerts!
