My friend and I got VIP tickets for this event which included a T-shirt, a souvenir mug, 20 wings ticket each, and early entry at 1pm. I was only able to eat 10 to 12 wings, so I personally don't think I got my monies worth. And if you want something other than wings, it cost 4 tickets to get tater tots, or 5 tickets for a tray of zucchini from various vendors to finish up using the rest of the tickets. Plus side, the lines were much shorter with VIP entry. There wasn't as much vendors as I expected, less than 10 chicken wing vendors. I was able to visit all the vendors and revisit the ones I liked serving chicken wings within 45 minutes and 15 minutes to get my beer before the 2pm general admission crowd came in. Generally, the wing tickets were only $1 each, beer tickets were $5 each, and $2 for water and $3 for soda (cash only). We left around 3pm a little disappointed that there was not more wings to try. I think this event would be better for a larger crowd or families to set up their own picnics since there was a band playing radio favorites. In addition, there was two jump houses and one slide for kids. Most importantly, this event benefited for the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sacramento to build homes for low income families, and if I can enjoy some wings while helping others, it is a win win.

Weak event. You had to pay to get into the park and then pay for tickets, then stand in another line to use those tickets to get anything including wings as well. Every other festival I've been to your entrance is free and the specialty and variety of that item are much more vast. The lines were extremely long, and there were only about 4 specialty flavors. .. all others were the typical flavor you can get at wingstop. Honestly did not think it was worth the money. Maybe with the VIP tickets it would be worth it but I cant imaging paying more money to go to this event. I would skip this event and go to the strawberry festival instead! Lol

It's held at a nice park with lots of shade. It's supposed to benefit the animal shelter. Those are the two positives. There is just too much standing in line. I pre-bought my tickets on line, but there's a fee added to each ticket. So there goes that savings. Once there, there was a long line to get in. Then another long line to buy tickets, which are required for purchasing wings. Then there are long lines at each of the 7 wing vendors. Not many other food vendors. Kettle corn, snow cones, and frozen lemonade. For the number of people they needed double the food vendors. I liked the music and time with my family. Otherwise I don't recommend this event. Free festivals offer more with shorter lines.
