Love this concept of a virtual food hall/ghost kitchen because it supports local chefs and provides a variety of cuisines to suit all tastes. I've tried three vendors so far: Yubu Yum, SEA Hut Express and Caribbean Fire Grill. I ordered online using the Sactown Eats website. You can only order from one vendor per transaction. Once your food is ready, you'll get a text message with a link to open your food locker. There's also digital kiosks inside for ordering. No seating or tables but there is a bathroom. Plenty of parking in a mostly gravel lot. Painted with their logo, it's a large brick warehouse close to Loaves & Fishes.

Passing through Sac, looking for a good meal. I'm a fan of ghost kitchen style service because I can order a bunch of different types of food in one spot. I ordered from two restaurants at Sactown Eats:Caribbean Fire Grill:Ordered a beef patty, Haitian beef patty, Haitian chicken patty and lemon cake. The patties were poorly seasoned. Haitian patties were very dry and bland. The Jamaican style beef patty was okay. The crust was nice, smooth and flaky but the filling tasted weird and was bland. The lemon cake was , I'd order 6 slices of that, good time. Honorable mention: Guava and cheese patty was also well balanced and moist, would order again. Overall I'd give this spot out of 5. Big Boi Burgers :I had the pleasure of meeting the owner of BBB. I noticed him bag up food for a houseless woman and walk it to her cart in the alley. Very nice guy. He greeted me and thanked me for ordering from his restaurant. I told him that I'm serious about burgers and I'm a harsh judge. He hoped I enjoyed his burger! Well, homie I found the burg to be a bit bland. I ordered a basic cheeseburger and that's exactly what I got. I will say the garlic mayo was very good. I always compare burgs I eat to my fave spot, True Burger. They also make an amazing garlic mayo. They again take the win and remain undefeated. Big Boi, you left such a great impression on me. You seem like a dope guy. I'd like to cook w you and watch some King of the Hill. Overall 1/2 of 5.The inside of the building is pretty simple. Go to kiosk, make order. You'll get a link to your phone when food is ready. Use link to open locker and boom, food right there. Please go and try food for yourself. Cause who TF am I right?

We were not aware that there was one kitchen preparing the menu items from a variety of restaurants. We ordered burgers and fries. The food was cold when we received it and it was not visually appealing like the menu photos. I think they use cheez wiz on the cheese fries. Everything is order to go in a small lobby with a menu screen. They text you and you pick up the food from a locker. Several of the restaurants were not open to offer food. I will not return because of the pricing and lack of food quality. I prefer to order from an actual restaurant.

I stopped into Sactown Eats for the first time today. I've been wanting to check out a few of the restaurants there but it's been a bit daunting to head to the ghost kitchen and order... Mostly, I've noticed while browsing that some restaurants are open, some aren't and the menus at each can potentially change.I was originally going to order online and pick up, but I decided to head in and order from the kiosk so I'd be able to see all the restaurants open at that time and check the place out. There is plenty of parking and it's right off the road in front of the building (on both sides). The actual space is very small and has two ordering kiosks, a bathroom, lockers for food and then a desk area with an attendant. When I first pulled in there were a bunch of deliver drivers waiting for pick up and while I was there a bunch of people came in to place orders. On the kiosk you'll be able to see who's open, the estimated wait time for food and what they're currently offering. You can only order from one business per transaction, so choose what you want before adding anything to your cart. When you pay they'll ask for your name and cell phone number and the confirmation and updates will be texted to you.You can wait outside, in your car, or inside and if you're inside they'll call out your order along with texting you.Overall I would consider coming in again and now that I'm more familiar with it I'd place an order online from home and pick up. You can also order delivery.

Hidden away off C St. I almost missed it driving. Not the best area but a lot of options if you want to pick up something quick for lunch or dinner.

Found a ghost kitchen in downtown! I wanted to try Ariana Gyro and Kabob since it was a closer drive. When I walked the girl behind the counter asked if I been here and I said no. She loudly pointed out that I could order through the kiosk or my phone. I opted for the kiosk since I was the only one here and wanted to see what else they offered. They had several concepts from Indian, Chinese, Mexican, and Mediterranean along with boba drinks. When my order was ready, I received a text to open up the locker my order was in. I would definitely be back to try the other offerings. The bowl I ordered was quite good. Even mild was pretty spicy. There is no seating so be prepared to stand inside or outside depending on how crowded it might be inside.

Placed an order from "Cluckin Good Chicken". My wife ordered from another of the kitchens. The food was top notch, from both establishments. The only reason I didn't give more stars is that on my order they auto-added a 15% tip. This is for a " restaurant" that has no servers, table- service, or dish cleanup. Literally no one is a server at this place. There is zero reason to tip a counter-service business, as everyone is working there for a wage, and California's got a pretty decent wage structure.
