Came to support some friends for their karaoke night. The bartender had absolutely NO idea what she is doing. We asked for "top shelf margarita" and she poured their top shelf tequila! With no Grand Marnier liquor. If you do not know how to make drinks, get from behind the bar! The "shots" are served in communion cups for $10. $14 for heap white Chardonnay wine and they ran out of that! And why are your employees drinking alcohol while working? Horrible ALL the way around!

We came here at 8pm for an event and the place was really clean. The service at the bar tending and the server girls were really friendly. The securities was really awesome, shout out to Security Carlos! He's such a good guy. The chicken wings was delicious too. Everything was a vibe, it was a safe night thanks to Carlos. Definitely will come back for another event.

Saturday, 10/22/2022 - Went to have lunch at "Sacto By Night Bar & Restaurant". Address is 7121 Governors Cir, Sacramento, CA 95823. When I first entered, it was cutely decorated in Halloween decorations. Right when you walk through the door, to the right is the check in/cashier, in front of you is the bar, straight across is to the bathroom, to the right is the tables/chairs and dance area. It was a really cute bar/area. Not to mention, the foods were pretty good. Upon arrival:Pros:1) cute restaurant and bar. I heard it turns into a dance club at night 2) plenty of parking. 3) a variety of food dishes to choose from. Most of our foods were pretty good. 4) bathroom was clean. 5) restaurant was clean. Utensils, bowls, cups were clean. 6) we met the owner there. At least I believe he was. An older gentleman. Very nice. 7) servers were very nice. They were willing to split our tab. 8) this restaurant is across from Chevron gas station on Florin Road (for those who live in Sacramento). Cons:1) no cons. Conclusion:We had a good experience for lunch here. No issues. We had our table reserved for all of us and was able to celebrate a great achievement for a friend. Staffs here are very nice. We were allow to bring our own cake and cut it ourselves with no issue. No fee. Love that. Yay!

We came here for brunch in a weekday and was seated immediately. The ambience was relaxing and lights were dimmed. Brunch was decent. We had the Banh mi Chao. The bread was nice and warm. The veggies with was fresh. The odd thing was the hotdog that was served. It tasted like a normal hotdog but with the sauce/gravy it gave it a different taste. The steak was decent. It could use a little more pork and pate. The egg rolls were delicious. It came out hot and crispy! I live the fresh veggies that was served with it. The bun mam was decent too. The eggplant in the soup was a hit!

Aye- I came through on a random Thursday night with a friend who was familiar with the area to have some drinks at the bar and just make the most of the night. They have a great staff, with Lin and Mary Ann holding it down at the bar while the DJ played some classic 90s/Early 2000s Hip Hop and Rap. I didn't notice it at first but yes, parking is gated so your cars are pretty secure, and there's hired security on staff making sure everything outside and inside the restaurant is going well. They do happy hour, karaoke nights on certain days, as well as DJ/Artist guest sets on the weekends in a convenient south sac/by the freeway location (so you ain't gotta worry about downtown parking!!) Servers and the Manager were incredibly professional but also super personable and I'm def tryna come back to enjoy some shrimp skewers or some fries (which I heard were bomb af.) I think it's a good spot for a chill time with some great friends on an afternoon weekday/evening or a good place to pregame or even spend the entire the evening on the weekends!! (The place does have a dedicated dance floor area away from the bar and DJs that come out to do some sets). These guys seem great. Check them out and get to know the staff!!

I want to start by saying this review is not based on experience with food, but more so environment and ambiance.This establishment is in the South Sacramento area and is located right off of the freeway. They are fairly new and my boyfriend and I decided we'd try them for dinner. The outside is super cute. Tea lights hanging around the parking lot make this place look super inviting and chill. There is a covered outdoor patio with seating, which would be nice to enjoy during breakfast/brunch on a sunny day. Upon entering we were immediately surprised by how loud it was. Music was blasting as if we were in the club (it was only 8' o clock during the week) so we were kind of thrown off by the type of scene for the time of day. We were greeted by a very friendly staff member as we entered and given the choice to either sit at the bar or on the floor. I have back pain due to an injury so I could not sit at the bar so we sat on the floor. There is plenty of seating throughout. They have a VIP area with booths, and a stage for live music. Once we were seated we took a look at the menu. To be honest we looked over the menu a few times and just couldn't find anything that sounded like it would satisfy us. Most of the night menu contained a lot of finger food and I don't think I saw any entrees that offered rice, which was also very surprising as most of the menu offers Asian food. During our time scanning the menu the waitress checked in on us twice and allowed us to continue to browse since we weren't ready to order. After some time, We both decided we did not want to eat here. The music was way too loud we couldn't hear each other speak and it was very distracting. The waitress checked on us once again, but this time I think should could read us pretty well and said it's ok if we didn't want to dine so we chose to leave. I'm giving three stars based on the experience today: music was too loud to even hear my date or concentrate on the menu, limited menu items to choose from, mostly shareable food with no rice option. This was a little disappointing. I will say the only staff member we came into contact with was very friendly and nice though!There is a breakfast item I do want to try since it looks amazing so we might be back. Which by the way they serve breakfast from 10 AM to 2 PM.If you enjoy the club scene, this is definitely for you. Good music and the setup is nice for clubbing vibes. However, if you prefer chill and want to catch up or converse with someone prob not for you. I should also say, since this was my first time in I do not know if this is the norm or not, just sharing my first experience. If we go back to try their breakfast I will update my review to reflect my most recent experience.

First time here, and I loved the experience of Sacto By Night. I will definitely be back again to enjoy all the fun events they have planned. The workers are super nice. The food is amazing.

Absolutely love love love this place. From the decor, food to customer service was all excellent. Although they just opened, their food was definitely tasty. I will be back with friends, family and clients! If you're looking for a place to relax, listen to live music and karaoke, you must come here to check it out! They have me as a return customer for sure! Everyone have to check this place out!!!

This place is amazing, you should definitely add this to your night out list, super friendly staff and attentive bar tenders! Karaoke nights are a must. I recommend the Prime Rib Salad and the wings are the best deal in Sacramento, hands down the best I ever tasted. Ashlyn and Surage are the best bar tenders I've ever met, and Mindy and Mailee are the best servers I've come across. Check it out.

We came here to try their karaoke. Menu is mostly finger foods which is not bad at all. Good selection. Soda is flat and tasteless. Looked at the can, expired-was dated June 2023. Got a replacement but this time in a glass of ice. Taste the same; flat and tasteless. I ordered a different drink. When I looked at the receipt, I was still charged for the expired drinks that I didn't even drink.The stage is nice for karaoke but KJ gets too drunk and rotation is unpredictable. Our group waited for almost 2 hours but KJ kept on skipping our turns. He came to our table and told us that we will be next . We were gonna leave but he said that we were next, so we waited. 6 turns later, he still didn't call us. He had the same group of women sing 4 in a row. He said that there's several new singers but the ones singing were not even new. We are not stupid that we can't see who's singing a few times already. We go karaoke everywhere for years already. These singers turns were after us but they already sang 2-3 turns before us. He tried to make us stay because we were next but we don't believe him. He said that a few times. KJs need to be sober and be fair. We ordered a lot of food, we are customers too.The food is not bad but I wouldn't recommend this place for karaoke. Definitely not a good place to unwind.
