Sacramento Steps Forward

I work for another non profit that works closely with this organization. I go to weekly meetings with them as well at attending a monthly Integrated Outreach meeting they host. 2 days a week I work with them doing homeless outreach in Downtown Sacramento. This is a great organization doing some amazing things in the Sacramento area. This is a group of highly passionate people who do whatever it takes to help the homeless population.

Mayor Kevin Johnson, thank you for addressing Sacramento's homeless problem. Tent City was an atrocity. I'd really like to get on board with this new endeavor and try to rev-up their current projects. They are always seeking volunteers. See website for detailed info. Keeping my fingers crossed that this project will last. I think it would really pick Sacramento up in spirit and in nature.
