Sacramento Shotokan

I train there and the instructors volunteer their time and are focused on traditional karate training. They encourage students and push to show their students that they can achieve their goals.

What a workout! This style of martial arts is classical combining traditional Japanese karate and vigorous exercise with a welcoming spirit. I have tried several other dojos around Sacramento and found this one to be very genuine and the real deal. The instructors are excellent and seek to improve the students through weekly practice sessions but there are also lots of extra events and special training opportunities. Some of these special events are up to four days long and bring other Shotokan practitioners from all over the world! I would highly recommend this organization to anyone who is interested in personal development and becoming part of an excellent community of martial artists.
