The Natomas Library is a fantastic community resource! The building is spacious, modern, and well-maintained. It's easily accessible with plenty of parking, making visits hassle-free. Inside, the library is clean, organized, and inviting. The staff are friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist. I especially appreciate the self-service kiosk for printing documents--it's straightforward and convenient. There are also plenty of activities and programs for kids, making it a great place for families. Overall, it's a wonderful library that truly serves the community well!

I lived in Natomas for a huge chunk of my life so I am very familiar with this library. It is big, spacious and always clean and organized. They have a nice Kid's Area with lots of room for activities! My daughter loves coming here to not only pick out books, but to also play with the toys. They also provide computers for use as well as headphones. You can even check out comic books and video games here! All of the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable as well.I love that they have a massive amazing wooden playground and they even have a smaller playground behind the library. Great walking area around the whole complex as well! There is a building next door that even hosts dance classes and what not. My daughter has attended classes there and she has even had soccer practice on the fields behind the library. It's overall a great library and there is always something to do and entertain my daughter when we visit. I also love the convenience of their website and the emails they send out letting me know when our books are due back or when a book I want to check out is ready for pick up!

The librarians are so pleasant and helpful. The library itself is well kept, as are the restrooms. There is a friendly security person on duty. I love picking up books here, or stopping by for a relaxing place to read and study.

Such a fantastic library with the cutest rose garden out front. The book selection is awesome and the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. They're always welcoming and the atmosphere is always positive. My partner and I took part in the adult summer reading program and had a blast. Truly a shining light in the middle of South Natomas.

This is an amazing location w amazing staff. It's nice and clean. I often come here for studying. However, inside of the library can get pretty loud. I would suggest bringing ear plugs. People are on their phones having straight conversations, phones are going off w the owner having no intent of muting their phone, kids are chasing and screaming, kids are playing shooting games on the public computers, parents are dropping their kids off to the library and parents are no where to be found. It can get pretty frustrating because growing up, the library was alway a quiet zone. Here, it is def not.

Absolutely beautiful library. There is ample parking and it is right near a community center that is open 5 days a week with an outdoor snack bar serving food, snacks Nd coffee. They look the same so if you're like me, you might accidentally walk into the community center (on the right) to be directed to the library on the left.I was amazed when I walked into the library -- big windows, natural lighting,, outlets at every table, friendly librarians, and clean restrooms. The best part? It was a Sunday afternoon when I walked in, and it was relatively quiet! The children's room is in its own corner so the noise didn't vary to the back where the study tables are. There was a friendly security guard walking around and she was also great helping to push the chairs in and keeping things neat. The beauty of this library doesn't stop here. I walked to the back of the library and there was a fort, track (in case you ever want to go running after your visit), a playground, and a rose garden! It was absolutely such a pleasant surprise to find this gem. I will be back and am really happy I found this place to buckle down and get some work done!

South Natomas Library (SNL) just realized it has a cool acroynym for its name. SNL has a very clean and updated atmosphere. The kids section is amazing. They have a table with about 4 computer for older kids, a few ipads for the middle aged kids to play some learning games, and 2 computers for kids to play some adventure and learning games with headphones for quite listening. The book section for children is pretty good. My children actually enjoy going here, there is a good amount if things to keep you and the lil ones occupied for a while. And if you have some babys in tow with you in the kids section there is a big open rug with some baby toys so you can sit or lay with the babies and let them enjoy some fun too. Plenty of seating for adults and kid chairs too.The adult section i haven't really ventured to cause of my kids, but i have seen around 8+ computers on their side with headphones also. And a much bigger selection of books.SNL does have a room when you first walk in to the right which has multiple use room, they hold sometimes toddler reading days, and older kids reading story times, i have been to the sales days when you fill a paper bag with books , which was really good, got a ton of books for cheapness. There is a lot going on here definitely worth checking out, you have the south natomas community center next door, fort natomas outside, rose garden too. Plenty of things to do here in one day. They do have a clean public restroom. Which is a major plus! So if your bored at home and want to surf the net or just chill out and read something "come on down to SNL". Not like you were busy anyways ;)

This is my go to location during the week. It's a little farther from the downtown library which is closer for me. I like the South Natomas branch since its very organized and nice. However.Parents who bring their kids here need to teach them to be quiet and be respectful of people. That is only issue.Their dvd collection is very impressive.Best thing about this place. No homeless people.

Sacramento Public Library is awesome! I am working on a research project and need to look at more specialized sources than what is available at your typical public library. With the help of library staff, I was able to borrow books and even thesis documents from UC Berkeley. Library staff were very patient working to help me access these materials. The interlibrary loan program here at the public library is better than the one offered at the Los Rios colleges in my experience because many times they are able to access items that Los Rios will not. Without their help my research would require lots of travel and would be a lot more difficult. I feel very lucky to have a resource like this so close to home!

I wish I lived near a place like this as a kid!I originally came for a puppet show or something which was also really cool. Because it is part of the public system, you can order a book if they don't have it there. The best part is the amazing playground outside!
