Can in to escape the heat and get my mobile devices charged. Quiet, cool, and the periodic/magazine selection is pretty good. Kids area seems to be a favorite in the neighborhood.

Arden Dimick Library, back open for full service and some added perks. Sign at door requests patrons wear face masks. All the staff wear masks. Plenty of computer stations, books, magazines, daily newspapers available here. Copy machines, for a few cents a page. So reasonable. Reserve a desktop computer, there are plenty. Loads of real books, including large kids book section, teen section. Helpful staff. Easy free parking on a lot just outside the door.

Guys! Personally, for me? This is the best place to do my sons homeschooling live video classes. Today is our first time here, though and the first thing I notice is the staff and volunteers. Really cool and friendly. Also very helpful. My bathrooms are being remodel at home and we needed to be out because of the chemicals so we decided to hangout at the library and do my sons live video classes. We were debating between this one and another one closer. We chose this one because we were already heading this way. Parking has a lot of space. Pretty open concept parking lot. It's clean and well maintained. Walking into the library not knowing where we could do live video classes at, we were directed to the community room. The worker checked the schedule for me and allowed us to work in the room. It's more private for us and we're not bothering any of the other library guests while we're video chatting with my sons teacher. Everything in this library is also clean and organized. The volunteers do a great job organizing the books and putting things back where they need to be. This will be our go to place when we get tired of studying at home lol.

Great manager, always flexible and kind. Knows our family by name. The assistants are helpful. I highly recommend returning books to a live person and getting s receipt. There is a nice selection of books and you can place hold requests through the online system. The remodel a few years ago has brought new life to this library. There are several monthly events hosted here - yoga, knitting, teen forums and kid events. There are also items on display at the front window highlighting works of various groups throughout Sacramento. There is a nice enclosed teen area right in the middle. The children's area is off to the side away from the main study/computer tables. There are seats and outlets readily available. Overall, it is generally quiet. It's usually kept very clean. There is even a security guard now after a rash of car break-ins last summer. Open until 8pm on Wed and Thurs.

I used to visit this library once a week. It's good that they have books in different languages. However, I always find the place crowded and hard to find a seat.Even if you got a table to sit at, you can't find a nearby outlet to plug in your laptop.Another thing that I do not like this library is that the librarians turn off the lights 5-10 mins before the closing. I've never seen other libraries do that and it's beyond polite to drive people away like that.I wouldn't go again if I don't have to.

This is our neighborhood library. The staff here are always helpful and friendly. There were a few occasions where I returned my books outside through the book drop and the system didn't register the return. But it was always taken care of either by a staff member or online which is probably the easiest way to deal with concerns. This library has been renovated so it's nice and clean. There are also lots of activities for all ages.

Used to go to this library since a very young age, volunteered countless times as well. Haven't been in a few years but I have nothing but good memories here. It's a quiet and accommodating library from what I remember.
