My daughter has been attending for a little over one year now. She started at SMS when she was 4 months old. The staff at SMS truly care for the well being and development of the children. My daughter was delayed in her gross motor skills as far as crawling and walking. The teachers in the Infant Classroom and administrators were aware of this and have been a tremendous help in assisting my baby catch up to her peers by working with her in regards to crawling and walking. At morning drop off everyone we encounter is so welcoming. I truly appreciate the communication from the teachers to us parents. We work as a team to overcome challenges the child may be facing. Apart from the welcoming environment, I enjoy receiving daily photos of my daughter, crafts she creates, seeing her smile on water day...the list goes on. Sacramento Montessori School has been a positive experience for our family and I look forward to watching my daughter's continuous growth at SMS.

I can't say enough great things about Sacramento Montessori. Our daughter has been there for a little over a year, and it's such a great atmosphere for kids to interact and learn how to be self-sufficient. The school communicates very well through an app, uploads pictures, and keeps us informed with all the necessary updates. They also have an onsite chef that provides multiple meals a day, which saves us so much time during the week. All in all, we love this school and can't say enough great things.

My child has been attending since they were 4 months old and it has been a very positive experience. My partner and I are constantly impressed by the new skills, sayings, and activities our child brings home each and every day. All of teachers have been very kind and communicative whenever we ran into growing pains and challenges. We have never felt that our questions were ignored or pushed to the side - they have always been super patient. My child is always telling me about her friends, teachers on the way home. I really love getting the daily updates and pictures of our child enjoying themselves! There is an app where you can check in and see how things are going throughout the day, super useful when you pick up your kid and are wondering if they've used the potty or not. The school also does well with emailing us updates about the school holidays, actives, etc. The facilities and play areas look clean and well maintained. I also see plenty of staff around the toddlers and infants - it doesn't appear that anyone is overwhelmed. Big shout out to Miss Mona and Miss Lluvana! You guys are amazing! I'm forgetting the names of the all the other wonderful staff members I've run across but you guys rock too!

My child has been in attendance at Sacramento Montessori for a little over a year and our experience has been incredibly rewarding. As a new-to-Sacramento family, changing preschools was one of many major transitions. The leadership and teaching team at Sacramento Montessori was committed to supporting our spirited and expressive child. Rather than suppressing or trying to bypass challenging moments at school, they partnered with us to figure out what was working and what wasn't; and most importantly, they partnered with us to build resiliency, independence and good communication skills in our child. We're grateful for the thought and care that my child's teachers put in to each and every school day; I've seen so much growth from age 3.5 to 4.5 years old in my child's handwriting, letter recognition, emotional regulation and creativity. Kudos to the love that Ms Nanci and Ms Selena put towards creating an impactful bond that made this growth possible. As a bonus, I would be remiss in sharing that the convenience and variation in the meals and snacks the team provides is huge. Going from the daily drudge of packing lunches and snacks to freeing up that time and shopping list from the work week, is a huge delight. If we could do it all over again, we would definitely enroll our child at Sacramento Montessori!

Our son began attending Sacramento Montessori School in the Summer of 2019 at 11 months old, took a hiatus due to COVID (and as the school closed briefly), and then returned in Spring of this year. My partner and I have seen both Managements and we so glad for the new/current Management! They have amazing communicating skill with the parents and being physically seen on the grounds of the school. Linda and Jessie are just the best! The New Management has also made huge updates to the school grounds and the classrooms during the time of their brief closure. It was a wonderful makeover that has made a huge impact. I feel that it all looks more modern and clean.Miss Mona and Miss Marcella are wonderful teachers and our son seems to have the best time with them in the Toddler Program. Our son remembers Miss Mona from before he took his hiatus and has quickly warmed up to Miss Marcella. Both Teachers are wonderful with communicating any updates that we need to be aware of and don't hesitate to call (which this Mama greatly appreciates)! We hope to keep our son enrolled until he is no longer of age and 100% recommend Sacramento Montessori School to other parents!

We started our son here in October of 2021. There are a lot of schools around and we are so happy we chose the Sacramento Montessori School. His teachers are all wonderful. Even all of the other teachers know every kid's name and who their parents are. This makes my wife and I feel very comfortable dropping him off every day. We love the notifications throughout the day of what they had for breakfast, lunch and snacks from their awesome chef as well as a photo of what they've been up to during the day. The activities they do every day are very well thought out and organized and we can see huge leaps in his development from week to week. I highly recommend this school to anybody looking.

First of all, during this COVID Crisis, I am very happy that the school takes the precautions necessary to keep our children safe and healthy. When we did the campus tour, we had to wait for ALL the children and teachers to be gone, which I liked and gave me peace of mind. My daughter is in the CEC class with Ms. Saira and Ms. Rosa and I want to thank and congratulate them both for the amazing job they are doing educating my daughter. Emilia has trouble in the mornings (waking up) but who doesn't? When picking her up, she's always in a good mood, so I can tell she has enjoyed the day. She is more social, friendly, and talkative and tells me how her day went. Thank you Sac Montessori!!

Beautiful school. Under new ownership and management. They have done many improvementsand updates to the Victorian, yard and garden. Every classroom has wonderful teachers who are very attentive to each childs needs. Staff is friendly, kind, bubbly and caring. The new administration provide great communication with the families in their care. Definitely worth touring. Sacramento Montessori School is its own little oasis and provides easy access if you are walking, biking or driving.

My son started preschool here about six months ago, and I can't say enough good things about this school. He did not attend daycare, so this is his first experience outside of our home. My son had a hard time transitioning to spending full days at school. All the teachers, even teachers in other classes, were so patient and kind with our family, and many of the teachers took on a special part in my son's daily routine to help him feel more comfortable at school. The teachers had a lot of helpful advice, but I think ultimately what changed my son's reaction to school is that the teachers made it a safe and fun environment for him. He now happily runs to school everyday, and even asks me to pick him up later and later in the afternoons. My son is learning so much at school. At three years old, he can write his full name - first and last. He is learning to play respectfully with his peers. Even in a group setting, he gets so much individual attention to his unique progress and development. The teachers at this school are kind, attentive, thoughtful, and fun. The school is always clean, and I never worry about my son's safety while at school. The school chef prepares two meals and two snacks per day, and my son loves the food so much that he will ask me to make the same things at home. It takes a lot of pressure off my plate to not have to pack breakfast or lunch for him. I get daily updates and photos, and as a working parent, I appreciate the flexibility in pick up times. I also get quick responses to my messages to the school.I highly recommend this school for little ones.

My daughter started here when she was about 2.5 years old without any former daycare/school experience. They have gone above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and cared for. She looks forward to going to school every morning to see her teachers, do job time/circle time, eat delicious meals and free play outside. She's grown immensely socially, emotionally and intelligently since starting last summer and I have the staff to thank for that. They welcome her every morning, always know all the kids and their families no matter which class the teachers teach. It has been helpful getting updates on her meals, potty time and photos through an App. And not having to worry about packing food has been a time saver! All the teachers and staff are easy to approach and will always tell you how the kids are doing. They set up a virtual parent teacher conference which helped a great deal since we haven't been able to be in the classroom. All in all, I'm so grateful she's able to attend Sac Montessori with such caring people.
