I was herw about 11 urs ago for a DUI! Never been arrested before..was like 44 yrs old..had a career job after being in the military. I deserved the arrest, what i didn't deserve was the little 4' Asian bitch telling me that i looked like a man and that is why after 8 hrs sleep i couldn't go home. Woke up in the drunk tank alone..which was odd in itself..lol...had a bad a bloody nose which isn't uncommon..I let them know and theu put me in a cell w no bathroom and when I asked her to use one..she said there was a drain on the floor and to pee in it! I have never been treated so poorly in my life! I don't know who these people think they are. Then when u leave..the only way to get discharged is to sign a paper that days u were not mistreated! Wow!

If for some reason you're in the drunk tank and have problems breathing please take a look at the ceiling and locate the air register... see how filthy it looks! To whom it may concern:It is possible that failing to replace the air filter in a jail drunk tank for years could lead to a lawsuit, especially if it results in health hazards for the inmates. Poor air quality can cause respiratory issues and other health problems, which could be grounds for a legal claim based on negligence or violation of inmates' rights to safe and humane conditions. Also Dirty air ducts in a jail can indeed pose significant health risks and could potentially be grounds for a lawsuit. Poorly maintained air ducts can harbor dust, mold, bacteria, and other contaminants, leading to respiratory issues and other health problems for inmates.Inmates have the right to safe and humane living conditions, and if the air quality is compromised due to dirty air ducts, it could be considered a violation of those rights. Legal claims might be based on negligence or failure to provide adequate care and maintenance of the facility. Almost forgot about that floors! Dirty floors in a jail can also be a significant health and safety concern. Unsanitary conditions, including dirty floors, can lead to slip and fall accidents, spread of infections, and other health issues. Inmates have the right to a safe and clean environment, and failure to maintain such conditions could be grounds for a lawsuit.Inmates can potentially file claims based on negligence or violation of their rights if they can demonstrate that the unsanitary conditions caused them harm. For example, there have been cases where inmates successfully sued for injuries sustained due to poor maintenance and cleanliness in their cells.Seeking Justice for Unsafe Jail Conditions and Excessive Force - Join Our Class Action LawsuitHello everyone,I hope this message finds you well. I must be honest here , I DO NOT reccomend visiting this place the breakfast is not up to par and the dinner's really are not what they could be , your best bet is trying the daily hot soup for lunch even then its not always the best , this place is nothing like the brochure , the rooms are pretty small , mini golf pencils only no krink markers no montana fat streakers its pretty boring and overall not worth the price of admission , which is crazy because they have these on call all day all night anytime chaperone's that will literally come to you pick you up and escort you down there free of charge , so next time your going about your day being a total dumb ass (speaking from experience) call a lyft or uber , phone a friend , call your mama , whoever you gotta to take a second to think , make a better move and just avoid this place all together its extremely difficult to get your deposit back and they almost never reemburse you for your time so its really all just a big waste of time heading down there .

Officer Lee badge #107 kicked me out of jail before I made it thru medal detector I started to walk thru n he said did I tell u to walk thru n I said I didn't know n then all I did was ask how long the visits were n let him know I was looking for my sister he told me I need to leave n pushed me out of the door told me I will be arrested for trespassing when I didn't do anything wrong. I'm so confused n I feel violated what should I do about this? It doesn't seem right at all! I didn't break any laws and I was respectful I don't get why I was being treated so disrespectfully by this officer. Makes me wonder n hope that he doesn't treat innocent people like this all the time. This man should not be working here he should be incarcerated here for unlawfully threatening to take me to jail when I am a innocent bystander who is just looking for my sister who was in a visit

I got thrown in Sacramento Jail a few years back for false allegations. Ultimately, the charges were dropped. The Jail Gards are a bunch of Bully Thugs. Very Unprofessional. They were worse than the inmates. As I was getting processed, this young guy smarted off to them, so they used excessive force, and hostile language and brutally twisted his wrists, They ordered me to watch the incident. They had these old obsolete phones, which were probably 50 years old.My right to make a phone call to my cell phone was denied because it was considered to be long distance even though it was a 916 area code. I could call land phones but not to any cell phones. I'll be dammed, If I am being held against my will, I should be allowed to call anyone I need to help me deal with this bullshit. The only numbers I could connect to were to local Bail Bonds, which are also a bunch of crooks. I couldn't call my wife to discuss the bail conditions. Without my knowledge, my wife bailed me out. It was an excessive $150,000 bail which cost me $15,000. I had no way of telling my wife, to hold off and see what happens at the bail hearing because they denied me of being allowed to call my own local phone number because it is a cell phone. As they let me out, a Jail cop was very rude and hostile. I couldn't understand him, so he yelled "Did you get your ass kicked while you were in jail?"Because I was denied from being able to call my local cell phone when I got out, I was stranded in downtown Sacramento. I didn't dare ask the front desk if I could make a phone call. I just wanted to get the hell away from those assholes. SHAME ON YOU SACRAMENTO JAIL STAFF

Zero stars! Horrible service. Was literally locked in a cement floored room with one open toilet for a dozen people overnight. When the sheriffs are bored, they leave the holding cell door open so they can beat up the poor fool who steps out of it. The beds on the eighth floor were much more comfortable than holding, two bunks per cell. Food was barely recognizable. I've never been so hungry and still been unable to bring myself to eat. I can't stress this enough, I do not recommend the 7th & I Street hotel!!

The initial arresting officers were professional, but I was busted with a .08 alchohol in my blood, which is .01 over the legal limit. i really thought i could drive just fine, i even waiting in my car before driving to make sure. I feel they could have let me wait another 15 mins with a warning. This was my first time being arrested.Yet, when I went into the Jail, i was given no instructions or let know what was going to happen to me when. I was constantly lied to, they put me in the wrong initial room and forgot about me and had no respect for me needing to go to work 8 hours after i was admitted. The officers treated me like the scum that I'm definitely not. they obviously have no problem further ruining lives of those who are down and out, i wasn't able to contact my work or loved ones, who were all worried sick. most information that i learned was from other inmates, which were actually quite good to me.I get that this isn't a restaurant or luxury hotel, but i expect basic human decency. The rooms were filled with poeple and toilets with no seats nor toilet paper, all in the same room. The officers were constantly joking and taking their sweet time doing everything. Furthermore, at least several of the officers seemed to have these incredible power trips (not all of them). one even sounded like he thought he was in the military. Ridiculous. i have no idea how this compares to other jails, but reports/articles online are not nice to this place.
