Stopped in without knowing it was several vendors demo days. The 4 vendors set up right in front of the store under Farmer's market tents. Wow! Got to sample several spice sauces slathered on many varieties of sausages, beef sliders, carne asada, shredded pork and chicken. Didn't need to eat lunch, or dinner, after the session.Went into the market, my first ever visit. Browsed all the freezers and shelves. Bought steaks, beef liver, duck bacon, some frozen fish, some pork. The prices are the best in town. Even beat Costco prices.Just got finished eating the beef liver. I kid you not, it was the most tender and tasty liver I've ever eaten. And I've only had liver n' onions about 10,000 times in my 72 years of life.I'm going to be a regular customer. Worth the extra few miles drive to save the cash and buy top quality products!

This place was great! Great customer service, great lay out of all the meats and cuts. The customer service was top tier, very helpful and very friendly folks. I grabbed a tomahawk steak and some dino beef ribs. They have wagyu, choice and prime meats. They have sea food, beef, pork all kinds of sausages as well. The lighting is great. You could see and hear the butchers in the back working hard. The meat is kinda pricey but then again you are paying for top quality so if you are used to buying at food maxx or food 4 less dont bother coming here cuz they dont sell cheap low quality meats here. Everything is graded and fresh unless u want some frozen stuff. They have meat boxes as well. I will be back, thats for sure.

We were headed up to Tahoe and were tasked with picking up some meats for the bbq and saw this place along the way.The selection of meats in here is incredible. They have a huge variety of marinated chickens, marinated tri-tips, wings, pork chops, pretty much anything meat related and cut you want you can find.We ended up picking up some of their wings, which cooked well in the oven. A couple of filet mignon and usda prime ribeyes. The meats were all very tender when cooked, and really good quality. For 5 steaks and the wings, we spent over $110. I think it's comparable to the big box stores but the quality is much higher than what you'd get at a normal supermarket. If we lived closer this would definitely be a place I'd go often. Definitely worth a stop if you are road tripping up to the mountains.

Very nice good selection. Quite when I was there bought three steaks New York Strip a fillet and a ribeye. I have eaten two of them and both where excellent .

Pricey but worth supporting local businesses. They are very helpful when it comes to meat. It's a good butcher shop and they even have cut bones for dogs. Highly recommend.

Great meat selection ranging from fresh poultry to game to red meats to various fish. Service was prompt and the associates were knowledgeable on the different goods sold. Pricing is on the higher side when compared to other places within the broader Sacramento area. Rating 3/5 largely due to the higher pricing point and smaller parking lot.

Response: we NEVER requested 20% pork, we requested the flavors of brats only! Everything else was made based off what you normally do. We brought our product to you because of your reputation, which is why we are so disappointed. We have 40+ years of experience cooking duck meat and 30+ years of cooking ducks brats specificity in our family that we had made by other butchers. We have NEVER had an issue, ever. If you are stating that the meat was bad, I sure hope you would not process meat knowing it was bad!None of this is slander, nothing we are saying is false it is simply facts. The hunting community needs to know so that they are not also disappointed. We will be giving them to anyone who wants to try it, they will gladly review it as well since you are standing behind your products. Want to start off by saying "To be clear this is not just about a refund, it is about the fact that all of all of our duck meat was ruined and a disgusting tasting product was made!!!!

The place is cute. Nice selection of meats. I got some marinated chicken breasts and they were absolutely amazing super tender in the marinade. It was delicious. The lemon butter was my favorite and we got ribeye steaks which were absolutely delicious.. a big pack of premade burger patties, which are really good to the bacon and cheese ones are amazing. The girl at the front was really sweet who helped me out we definitely had a laugh.

This place is the only place you should get your meats from in my opinion. I love the variety they have in stock and the flavors. For what looks to be small, they sure carry a lot. The staff is very friendly and willing to get you what you need. They really make you feel like family. Please stop in and pick something up next time you need meat and look online at their bundled packs they put together.

We came here today looking for Wagyu ribeye for my boyfriend's 25th birthday tomorrow. I called before hand to make sure, as we were originally planning to drive to Oto's in south Sacramento. Living in Citrus Heights, Roseville was a much closer trip.They had many different cuts of meat pre cut and ready to go, although they had some fresher cuts of filet mignon, so that enticed me to ask about them getting more Wagyu soon as these cuts looked fine, but we wanted it as fresh as possible. The gal that helped us by asking a gentleman behind the butcher counter, and they both walked into the fridge and came out with a huge piece of Wagyu. The man unwrapped it, asked us how thick we wanted it, and proceeded to trim, cut and package our fresh Wagyu ribeyes. Im editing to add here that they had very reasonable prices (I only looked at steaks) bone in ribeyes and Tbones and filet mignon all cheaper than Safeway Raley's or sprout IF you can find these cuts there, and for me, that's a big if and usually have to settle for something else. At check out I asked if we could split the payment in two, as I was $2 over my spending limit. The lady was the same one that originally helped us, and said he added a small discount so we didn't have to worry about the split payment todayThis was the best customer experience I have ever had. And it truly made my boyfriends very special 25th birthday even more special and amazing. Just look at these steaks!
