It’s the potion cart...beware of the blue one, it’ll make you poop out of your eyeballs!!😬
Parallel play at its best!
Meet the Rock Family...these kids come up with the best ideas!
Sometimes you just need to try every utensil and roller. This is what art looks like at RCP!

Best around!!!! We have been going to Roseville Community Preschool for four years, I wish we would have more kids so we can stay forever!!! We love the community, the teachers, and the kid first philosophy. The school has changed the way we parent and we are so thankful to have found it!!!!

This is the best preschool in the world, my daughter is thriving here and she and I have made so many friends with the other students and parents. There is never a bad day here and the children learn to be self-assured and autonomous, and can play freely with whatever materials they want during each school day. It is a wonderful place and any child would benefit from being enrolled.

Play abounds at RCP! My family and I are proud to have been a part of this community for the past several years. Walk in the front door and you'll immediately see and feel that this place is different - and extraordinarily special. Children are given such respect and opportunity to discover and learn through doing.Sand. Paint. Water. Costumes. Snails. Swings. Bikes. Clay. Climbing. Running. Pretending. Mixing. Woodworking. (This is just a starting point!) Come and check it out. There's no place quite like it!

Amazing place for children! Children can run, dig, paint (not just on paper!), climb, and so much more. Childhood is celebrated and traditions are magical. For example, the children return from Winter break to the entire yard transformed into a forest of replanted Christmas trees. Truly a magical place for children.

Got my son on the waiting list for $40 at 18 months old like the website said to do, received no email saying I was on a waiting list. I had to email and ask to make sure. I wanted to make sure since they don't take children until they reach two years, 9 months. My son is three in April and I still have yet gotten a phone call or any correspondence. I've even emailed asking for my $40 back since I don't believe to be even on a "wait list". I still have not gotten any response to that email nor a phone call. Does not seem right...

This place is not only entirely designed for kids, but it made me a better parent. I will sob when my youngest heads off to Kindergarten because there is no other school where he will ever be as loved as he is at RCP. This is a program based on the developmental needs of children, where earlier isn't better and faster isn't better. Play based preschools like RCP, where kids run, dig, swing, slide on a zipline (yes, there's a zipline!), paint, play with clay, and dress up in costumes, are where the true education of a preschooler occurs. You and your family will be better off after attending this school!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I wish I was a preschooler again and could go there. My girls have a blast and want to go everyday. It is a parent co-op, so I volunteer one day a week, and also have the privilege of going to the monthly parent meetings taught by Bev Bos and Michael Leeman...both awesome. We moved from Roseville to Fair Oaks last year, and never thought for an instant about taking my girls anywhere else despite the drive. Teacher Sally & Teacher Kelly are GREAT!

This is the best parent participation preschool around. It's dazzling. The space is all about play and whimsy and exploration. Rather than corralling kids into circles for the same old tedium, the children lead the way. They get muddy. They get wet. They get paint everywhere. They can even use power tools at times. It's all about creating a space where the wheels of the mind start turning and the child gets to create and lead. This place is a local treasure. Scrap up your pennies and make sure you don't miss getting to be a part of this place. It's as meaningful for grown ups as it is for the kids!

We love this preschool! This places encourages freedom, exploration and independence. My daughter started at just-turned-3 years old, and was painfully shy (to the point of tears if a stranger asked her a question) and overly cautious about trying or learning new things. After 8 months in this environment, she is confident, talkative and willing to take risks. She has made friends without adult influence or direction. And most importantly, she is happy in her own skin. She is still shy; they do not see anything wrong with that and have taught HER that it's ok to be shy, to be the miraculous little person she is, without judgement. Other places require the kids to participate, but Bev and the teachers appreciate the value of observation. I don't mind the mandatory hours required by the parents; because I spend so much of my time there, I not only feel involved but ownership. I know the other kids, the other parents, and the teachers. It is truly a community, where the kids are the center.
