Been here for a couple times now and both times have been great. True, service can be a little on the slow side but I'm not at a fast food restaurant and I enjoy the company I am with. This is a great new spot with a fun vibe, good food and reasonable prices. I wish all the best for this new restaurant. It's not easy opening one, especially when there are people out there who will blast it for no good reason other than perhaps some Internet clout. Oh and the marina service fee mentioned in a previous review is clearly stated on the menu and is pretty standard for any establishment in settings like this.

I came here on a rainy Sunday around 11am, I was meeting some family for a nice brunch (group of 4 total). I got there first so decided to get on the waiting list by giving my number. It seemed to be very busy and a big group was waiting outside. It was cool to see they had seating upstairs and downstairs.I waited in the front inside area where they had a couple cushy seats and a bench and after about 18 minutes, I got a few calls, one from a private number and a couple from a 925 area code (Patino Hernandez). Fortunately they left a message so I realized it was the restaurant calling me to say my table was ready. I went up to the check in area and then also received a follow-up text. It is nice they cover all their bases, but should probably forewarn that the table ready announcement will be via phone call (from an unknown number). I could have easily missed it.Anyway, I got seated (even before my party got there) which was nice. We had a nice view of the river. My party finally arrived around noon and we got started with our drink orders. We got the giant mimosa for $58 which ended up being perfect for 3-4 ppl (it says you need a minimum of 2 people to order, but I think that would be dangerous for 2 haha). My cousin does not like champagne so ordered a bloody Mary and michelada. I did not try the food, but it looked pretty bomb.I did notice on their drink menu they have 2 cocktails with 2 different names but same exact ingredients - do that was funny to me (morning sky and blackber-mint).Overall, good vibes, ambiance, and service. The parking situation can be a little tough, but there is additional parking underneath ground level. I also imagine a lot of people can get f*cked up here (my cousin said when he went to the bathroom someone was puking their guts out, so be aware of that). There is also open bar counter seating with no wait so nicer for smaller parties.I would return!

There were three of us for lunch during the week. We received prompt, polite service and tasty food. This restaurant has a great spot overlooking the river and plenty of windows. We had a chicken wrap, BLT and a Spicy Frank. The sides were delicious and everyone really liked what they ordered. Will for sure be back.

This place is AMAZING and overlooks the river! We came in on a Sunday and there was no wait, GRACE was our waitress and she was helpful, attentive, friendly, and efficient! They had some really amazing meal options that I've never seen before, they had a Chorizo Benedict with red and green salsa instead of hollandaise and it comes with potatoes, which is right up my alley. The place is open and bright and has great music playing. PARKING: They have a shared parking lot and you shouldn't have any issues finding a spot. We already have plans to come back. I can't wait!

The food was just okay. Maybe it was the dish I got.. The ambiance of the restaurant is definitely a place for the girls to meet up. The service is great. They occasionally checked on my table regardless of how busy it was. I would definitely come back. Their mimosa selection is it!

Finally got to check them out. They've been on my list for a while located right on the river with cute views stopped in for brunch and went with the chile verde skillet and it did not disappoint. Very tasty and large portion size. I also had an alcoholic beverage tasted very good. I am a little sad to hear once we got home they had posted to their social media it was their one year anniversary and they were running specials all day, no one had mentioned that earlier when we were in.

A group of 8 of us decided to try the dinner menu, as we love their breakfasts. WARNING: Corkage fee is $30 PER BOTTLE! We were never told this before opening 2 bottles. That being said, my shrimp tacos were delicious but the bigger surprise was the yummy rice that was laced with lemon and bits of corn. My friend next to me had the chicken sandwich but it had no dressing so she spread her husband's chipotle sauce on it and then loved it. We had the Brussels sprouts and calamari starters which were delicious. We mentioned that we were celebrating our friend's birthday, so when we ordered dessert had expected a candle on his dessert. A little disappointed that it arrived unceremoniously but our group serenaded him anyway. Overall the service was good until we saw the bill that included $60 in corkage fees. We bring wine to every restaurant every month and we have NEVER paid this much, and we are always warned about the fees ahead of time. So while our food was good, this ending left us unsure about returning for dinner.

let me start by saying my experience at the rooster was great! I enjoyed a brunch tamales and a bloody Mary by my bartender Joel. The service is excellent and the bloody Mary was delicious. Love this place!
