Roll n Go Sushi

Delicious little hole in the wall for sushi to go at the Safeway shopping center. We were immediately greeted upon entry and he was very patient with our questions. The sushi is not gourmet but tasty nonetheless. A huge step above grocery store sushi. The rolls are rice heavy and it's good proper sushi rice. They use krab meat not crab. I would say the amount of fresh fish in each roll is average. The fish tasted fresh (no off putting fishy smell.) We ordered the stuffed mushrooms ($5.50). It was tempura deep fried and stuffed with krab meat. Then we got the number 7 ($10) and 9 ($9) sushi rolls. Number 9 is baked. We really liked all of it. Other menu options include appetizers, teriyaki plates, and udon noodles. Affordable, made to order, customization options and fast service. What's not to like?

My son and I love coming here after school for a great deal on rolls that are delicious! It's take out only, no dine in, but the service is great and fact is, it's super tasty!!! Clean and welcoming.

We ordered Roll #3 (Smoked Salmon, Cream Cheese, Avocado with spicy mayo, teriyaki sauce) & Roll #17 (Spicy Tuna, Eel, Shrimp Tempura, Cucumber, Avocado, Masago with spicy mayo, teriyaki sauce) to go and liked it both. Service was fast.

For my money, this place is money! It's reasonably priced. Everything tastes as I'd hope and expect it should. So far I've tried #13 which happens to be my favorite. The fried jalapeños were on point. The spicy tuna was on point. It also had tempura shrimp, avocado, spicy mayo and teriyaki sauce. BOMB! I also ordered #8 which is crab, tempura shrimp, topped with salmon, spicy mayo and teriyaki sauce. I have a roll with this exact combo in San Jose and I just love it. They do it very well here too. For frame of reference, I've been to many spots out here in the entire Sacramento area. I've had very expensive sushi but I'd say none of them really hit home. The fancy places are great. But I feel like it's more pomp and circumstance in those places. This place is more of like a staple for me. A place I'd frequent very frequently. So satisfying. Will come back again and again and again!

Found this spot via Yelp friends and it did not disappoint. Rolls for $9, yes I said $9 ! Now most of the time inexpensive sushi is accompanied by improperly prepared sushi rice. RnG had perfectly prepared rice making their sushi tasty and affordable. There is currently no indoor dining available so be prepared to eat elsewhere. If RnG were in my neighborhood I would probably be here once a week lol. If your in the area give some live to this family owned small business.

Delicious! Service is amazing, speed after ordering, packaging is nice. I also had miso soup but didn't take a picture. Food was nice and fresh. Definitely recommend for a Togo food place!!

I do not record this place! Food tasted old. I prefers chicken and it was super hard. The guy at the front is rude bad service. I'm pretty sure they're good for me sick. Ambiance is horrible as well only takeout.

I just adore this place. I've been coming here for a long time and it's my favorite spot to get sushi! The prices have always been fair considering the economic state we're in. It's usually a gentleman with glasses taking orders, his customer service is excellent in my opinion. He is kind but not overly talkative, which I always appreciate. Food is consistently excellent and top quality. I know everyone is used to sit down places, but there is no indoor seating so don't expect that. it's as the name suggests ; ROLL N GO!! Anyways, Roll N Go I love you. Please never leave me.

Very good portion, consistent taste every time, positive employees. Love this place. My wife and I eat here often and have never been disappointed.

Great quality and prices and it's to go only. Was not disappointed at all. You can select from typical roll combinations or build your own.
