Rocky's 7440 Club

New to the neighborhood, and I have an affinity for dive-ish bars! It was a slow night - though it allowed me to really see the bar! LOVED all the old signs, on the ceiling and wall.They have a vending machine...Lord, that is the bomb! Oh and the self serve nacho bar! Made this gal pretty darn happy!

My dad introduced me to the 7440 Club back in 1973. I had just arrived from Wisconsin, and he said "here's a bar like you're used to" - well, he wasn't wrong. Cold beer, good people and a cool vibe. Well, I have to say it's gotten bigger, but still feels cool to me. Dropped in recently with some guys for a bachelor party. Drank some cold ones, actually a lot of cold ones, and did karaoke. Damn fun time! Last time my dad and I were in there was 1982, he passed in 1984, but I got to introduce my son the 7440 this year. We'll be back.

I've been to this place first time many moons ago.. Great for a drink friendly faces..Huge backyard.. Plenty of space and games inside is great as well and the drinks are on point delicious..

I used to be a "Regular" here back in the day. It's one of the few pubs that truly cares about their patrons and treats them like close friends, if not family. Just went there last night and the owner cared enough to make sure I made arrangements to make it home safely. The owner is truly a consummate professional in the hospitality industry. Rocky works his ass off and is constantly making improvements to the place so that patrons have a great experience. The patrons come from all walks of life and the 40 is a place where every law abiding person can feel welcomed.

It was a vibe since it was my first time. .We came here as a group to come get lit with a party and some karaoke. .After I got situated with a seat, I was stuck there til I was done. Otherwise it was busy and my seat might be gone. .So when I looked at the crowd it was a fun crowd. People came over to join us and sing together. We were just vibing. .So when I looked across the room and I saw a look alike twin of my other half. I was missing my other half to be there to have a good time. It was fun and I was admiring her laughs and giggles. She was just having a good time. .Drinks I had a gin and tonic, well which was only 6 bucks. Taylor the bar tender was nice, try his best to be quick and get the drinks refilled in a quickly manner. Loved the drinks and it was strong too. .Overall if you love to karaoke come. If you love strong drinks come. If u like to have a good time come. We all like coming here to karaoke. They now charge a 5 dollar fee to enter, not sure if before but for me it was the first time. Enjoyed my first visit to the 7440 Club, late afternoon today. Welcoming staff, regulars friendly too. They have a touch-tunes, Cazadores Repo and Blue Moon on tap...what more can a lady ask for in a neighborhood bar. Although I may have gotten a little ribbed (e.g. teased/played) by "Efron". Oh, and of course, last BUT definitely not least....Miss Katie was a gracious host and bartender. Will visit again. Thank you.

I loved that there was karaoke and drinks flowing. Head to the back and it's even bigger and lots of room for everyone! Glad my friend took me here! I can see coming back!!

Got a nice ambiance, cool place I've been to a few times. Bartending was good. During the time the wife and I were there a rude young woman kept obnoxiously bumping into my wife when there was plenty of room at the bar top. Words were exchanged and had to leave, didn't want to spend the rest of the evening in jail due to bar room fight. Apparently this place is known for rowdiness. Proceed with caution should you go.

I frequently visit my local bar. I get off of work later at night and I seldom order anything other than a Bloody Mary. If they don't have it or can't make it , I have always been respectfully communicated that it's too late to order one, Often to be told if it's too late they will still make it just without garnish with a simple tomato/ vodka mixture if I liked. That has always beeen a friendly option, up until When I ordered recently it almost seemed like a personal offense towards the bartender that I ordered that drink. She proceeded to belittle me simply because of my first initial choice, and me returning the same energy back, only made her appear to get more bitter towards servicing me. I get not wanting to do certain work past a certain time for sake of closing efficiency, etc. but keep your pessimistic thoughts about you're pessimistic job to yourself cause I don't come there in a bad mood looking to get in a worse mood. I try to unwind but this isn't the place anymore. Asshole bartenders, but I'm glad they fixed their security guard problem! All those homies have been cooler than ever so props to that only reason why I'll give a 2 instead of a 1 is cause of security rather than the rude bartenders seemingly angry at their job resonating unto clients.

Major weirdo energy. My friends and I saw a couple arguing. Dude was much bigger than his girlfriend and he keeps cornering his girlfriend and grabbing her. My friend asks if theres a problem and we are immediately rushed by 6 security guards and some friends of the boyfriend. They all kept saying he is the owner of the bar. They threatened to ban us and let us know everything is okay because he owned the bar.
