My daughter had her wedding and reception here. We were very happy with the venue and appreciated the staff. It's a beautiful venue. We originally planned to have an outdoor wedding but with all the rain, we had to shift to an indoor wedding. It was a little strange, for us, to have everyone seated at tables for the wedding ceremony rather than in seats arranged in rows. But it turned out to work really well because the acoustics in the room are great! The ready rooms are amazing and the facility served the wedding of about 200 well. Great job, city of Rocklin!

Great space for small, gatherings and large gatherings. They have different rooms for each. They're organized and clean and have nice kitchens to work in the staff is always on top of everything and keeping everything in order and clean. I definitely recommend this place they don't have staff, but you can also always hire staff from unlimited helping hands.

After checking out a ton of venues we decided to go with Rocklin Event Center. We were able to bring in our own vendors (food, DJ, cake, bartender, etc.) which made it a lot cheaper than to go to those venues that include "everything". They provide chairs and tables for no extra cost, but we decided to use our own chairs since they looked more elegant. They set up the reception tables and ceremony chairs (they only set up their city equipment). We didn't know if it would rain outside, so they set up their chairs indoors as well for the ceremony just in case of any last-minute weather changes. The groom and his men got ready onsite in the grooms getting ready room. The bridal room isn't very big... especially for getting ready in, so we got ready at a local hotel. They were able to write our names on the outside of the rooms which was a nice touch!4 stars because there were a few things that were not the greatest, but wasn't a huge impact on us but may be for other couples...1) Poor communication. Maybe it was the person that I was "linked" to (Nicole), but she was only available on Monday's, Wednesday's and Friday's from 8-4ish, which made it extremely difficult to get any questions answered. 2) I found out a week before my wedding date that wedding insurance was required (the agreement only stated it may be needed). 3) Mosquitoes everywhere outside in the garden!!! We had no idea that would be an issue! We got married in January so the last thing we were worried about was mosquitoes! There is a water fountain outside and they were biting us during the ceremony. It was terrible... but we got over it. It was the only thing we had a "story" about! Just a heads up! No staff member at the venue mentioned it could be a possibility. Other than that, it was a great venue!

I've attended a wedding here and will be having my wedding in about a month in a half. The venue is beautiful after the remodel and the prices are amazing. It's a little hard to reach the staff but once you do it's worth it. They work with you and try to provide the best they can. I will update after the wedding.

This venue is beautiful and it worked perfect for my aunt;s memorial service. However there were some downsides with the service I received from the staff. I initially emailed a staff member who said the venue was available for my date. After viewing it that same day, I wanted to book it, was not hearing back via email, called the main office and they said that it actually wasn't available that date. Tried to call back to find out if another date would be available, called many times without response. I believe they were in a meeting and were in the middle of changing staff people. I ended up working with 5 different people and a completely different person on the day of.Luckily we were able to find a date that worked and got the contract signed and complete. But even still it was hard to get responses on things. I went back and forth trying to get a clear answer on what kind of connection we would need to connect our computer to their projector and I was assured that I just needed to bring a computer and it would plug into that. Sure enough we got there to set up that morning and their cord did not connect directly to our computer. My sister had to run to three different Walmart's to try and find the adapter cord to make that work. She was able to find it, just in the nick of time but it caused additional unnecessary stress. They were gracious to let us continue cleaning up the kitchen after our set time slot. And overall the venue is beautiful. We were able to have 150 seated theater style inside for the service and then we opened up the doors to create an indoor/outdoor feel for the after service lunch. We had the buffet outside and then switch out the inside to round tables for additional seating. Outdoor tables can seat 36 and there are beautiful rose bushes, fountains and enclosed garden. You should instruct your guests to come around back and enter through the garden. It can be a little hard to find it if you don't know where your headed walking through the front of the building. It's a bit hard to find the offices if you don't know where your going and they tend to be locked. It's hard to find the people. We used the Sunset Room, which is also referred to as the Garden Room in different places on the website.. causing even more confusion. It comes with a kitchenette that has a microwave, mini fridge and hot plate, but for another $200 we ungraded to the full kitchen so our caterer was all set. There was a $500 deposit that we got back cause nothing was damaged. The P.A. System came with the room it was one speaker and one wireless mic. We also used the projector & screen. The screen was a little funky, it was crooked and we couldn't get it straighten, but it worked. Overall this is a great venue, the service just seemed disjointed, I know they said they were in a lot of transition with staff, so hopefully things will get more on track once they have that transition complete.

This place is great for large events at a great rate. I am not sure of the exact capacity, but I am sure it could hold at least 250-300. The staff is very helpful and load in and out was super easy.

I just had my wedding here and loved it! The garden is beautiful and has a few options for a ceremony site, and the adjoining garden room was perfect for our under-50 people reception. It was quite difficult finding a wedding venue that was on the smaller side. Since you can pay per hour, it's great for simpler weddings and people on a tight budget. I loved that we could bring in outside catering and our own alcohol--both saved us so much money. There are some restrictions that made decorating the venue and having our rehearsal a bit difficult, so make sure to really comb through the contract! I do wish the communication was a bit better, as I would sometimes wait days to get a one sentence reply email from our contact person. I also have to mention the amazing bridal/groom getting-ready rooms! The bridal room has couches, huge mirrors, and a massive bathroom. The groom's room has a pool table and games, as well as their own bar (seriously the guys' room was way more fun). There are also lockers available, although there were only keys for 2 of them when we arrived. Overall, I think it's a great venue for weddings in the Sacramento area if you want something other than a barn or vineyard.

By far the best venue in town, the staff Angela in particular takes the time to listen your needs, cares about your day which is priceless! The garden area is beautiful for outdoor ceremony, and since they have remodeled WOW!!! This facility allows you to bring in all your own vendors, they have a very nice kitchen for your caterers to use. I would highly recommend this venue, the pictures online do it no justice. And if your lucky enough Angela will be the one assisting you!

I worked a wedding here has a photographer this past weekend. The outdoor setting is really pretty for being located in the middle of the city. There is a gazebo outside and a pergola where the couple was married. The interior has a huge lounge area for the wedding party with a pool table, video games, shuffleboard, tv and couches and chairs. The main hall is huge and seats many people. But is obviously not the best to hold a wedding in since it is so large and the lighting is like auditorium lighting. But I just saw the prices for the facility and that is why I am giving it 3 stars as for the price you can't beat it. There are many other locations for weddings I have been to that are wayyyyy nicer but for the price you can't beat it. The outdoor settings definitely make it worth it here.

The Rocklin Event Center worked perfect for our early June wedding. We found this hidden gem by chance and so glad we did!!!! Having both the ceremony and reception on site made it easy for us an our guest. The gazebo was gorgeous. The on site staff on the day of were absolutely helpful. We were even told we left it exceptionally clean, which was nice. My husband and I were nervous about the photos we would be able to get here, but that wasn't a problem at all! I highly suggest using the oak tree out back. Over looks Rocklin/Roseville, gorgeous! Only negative is that they do not have a full time staff in charge of the venue. So sometimes it was difficult reaching someone and being able to get over there when working full time.
