If you're looking for a solid spot with great food and awesome service, Rock Hard Burgers and Brew is the place to go. The food was absolutely delicious fresh, hot, and served fast. The pizza had the perfect crispy crust and was loaded with toppings, and the burger was juicy, cheesy, and full of flavor. You can tell they use good-quality ingredients because every bite was on point.But honestly, what made the experience even better was the lady working there. She was so sweet and somehow managed to juggle everything taking care of the people at the bar, checking on tables, and making sure everyone was happy. She never seemed overwhelmed and had a great attitude the entire time, which made the whole vibe even better.Overall, this place is a gem. Great food, great service, and a welcoming atmosphere. Loved the music playing and the smell in this restaurant made me think I wasn't in a bar. Just a clean environment to be in! Definitely recommend stopping by!

Came here for a quick bite for lunch and it was solid bar food. I loved the chicken Caesar salad wrap! It had the perfect ratio of dressing to lettuce and chicken. The tater tots on the side are a MUST! Our waitress was super friendly and attentive- loved her!My friends and I felt sick afterwards though and we all think it was the ranch so maybe rethink your dipping sauce

I am just discovering Rock Hard Burgers and Brew!! Found RHBB on Yelp because I wanted to have a good beer. Rock Hard popped up nearby. We walked into a dim lit bartop with tables and chairs. The vibe was eye poppin and I feel like this could be an amazing spot to hang out at. Especially because Lisa was behind the bar. Lisa is freakin FABULOUS! She gave us tasters so we could decide which of their rotating beers we wanted. I believe they only had about 10 beers on draft available. They also have a cooler filled with many canned local beers available. We grabbed a couple menus to decide on what to eat. My other half went with chicken tenders ($11.50). I went with the Wedge Salad ( $11.50)When our food came out, it was the most beautiful Wedge Salad I have ever seen. Let me just tell you now it was so damn GOOD! literally the BEST WEDGE SALAD I'VE EVER HAD! I gotta be honest though... I'm glad I didn't get the chicken tenders. Ittasted like they need to clean their fryer oil or change it out (if you know the taste, ya know). The tots were nice and crispy.Delicious beer! Delicious Salad! Perfect customer service!! Our first time here and we'll be back. Super friendly staff, fun American pub vibe, and delicious burgers. They got pretty busy and seemed under staffed, thus the 4 stars, otherwise it would be a five. We've already recommended to family and friends.

Our server was prompt and friendly and patient! There were lots of interesting choices on the menu, plus daily specials. One of the items was Rock Hard Balls. I was intrigued so I ordered those to share. Really good! Three of us chose the Blue Cheese and Burger with BBQ sauce. It had just the right amount of blue cheese, so yummy. I chose tater tots for my side and they were cooked perfectly! Our fourth lady chose the Rock Hard Burger which she enjoyed. Food was delicious. Big burgers that 3 of us took half home to enjoy later. There were TVs set up and a variety of beers on tap. Great place to watch games and munch on good. Definitely recommend!!!

Wow this place is rude to handicap with service dog!! Plus there is a sign on the door stating service dogs only......As I open the door, I'm told no go!!!! Told them to take the f@(king sign down then!!! I will never eat there and told all my peeps!

Rock Hard is a great option for a neighborhood bar that serves reasonably priced strong drinks and has tasty bar food. The bartenders are very friendly as are the patrons. I like to stop in frequently, particularly for Taco Tuesday when offer cheesy beef, chicken, steak and shrimp tacos. On other days, I like to get their wings which are meaty and have a nice crispy exterior along with a variety of sauces. They also offer fantastic burgers (the bleu cheese and the mushroom Swiss are my favorites) as well as tasty tater tots. The place is nothing fancy, but it offers solid food, good drinks, and plenty of TVs to watch whatever game is on. Highly recommend for a weeknight dinner and drinks with friends.

Best burgers (bar) in Citrus Heights. The Rock Hard Burger does not disappoint. The creamy havarti coupled with sweet caramelized onions and balsamic is to die for. It's soooooo good. Actually everything we've eaten there has been nothing but amazing. Great service, great food. Our new "day date" lunch spot!

I think this is more like a 3.5 review, but whatever. This restaurant is a mix of bar, sports bar, and dive all rolled into one. The staff knew my family members that I came with, so the service was very personable. To be fair, a lot of people seemed to know each other as regulars, so perhaps the friendly service is the norm.I ordered the pulled pork slider special, while my party got the burgers. I had unfortunately already had a burger, but their burger looked very good. Should I return, I definitely will try the burger. My pulled pork slider was full of meat, but was hoping the cole slaw had more bite (vinegar). It was tasty, just missing some acid. The meat was plentiful in terms of portion, so no skimping here.Falls into my probably not top of my list, but if family wants to return, I'd have no problem. I just may try a burger

Just a "meh" for me. The place has the look of a dive bar vibe and is very dark (I came in the afternoon). There was one server trying to accommodate about 15+ people and it took about 40 minutes to get my food when I first came in. I ordered the portabella bacon burger. The presentation was great but but the flavor was not. I tasted no seasoning on the meat and there was very little aioli sauce. At about $20 with a side salad, the price wasn't justifiable for me to return. I didn't have a horrible experience, but I definitely won't be back. Mediocre is the perfect definition for this place.
