Rock & Brews - Cal Expo

I wish we were in town long enough to make it for a show here ~ such a large space/concept perfect for huge gatherings and a rockin' show no doubt. There was a Rush cover band coming in and that would have been a hoot to watch and vibe with!If you've followed my pretzel/beer cheese and brew reviews recently, I think I've found the coolest pretzel delivery and presentation thus far! (See pic) Great portion size, value, adult and kiddo approved. Unfortunately not my most favorite beer cheese recipe, but solid.We didn't have enough time to try other items, but I did notice the burger and other shared apps looked extremely yummy and comforting. Appreciate the local beer selection and awesome staff..they even brought us out a complimentary avocado sliced for our son to have. Would def. come back if in the area with friends for drinks, snacks, and a show. Also, plenty of parking if driving in!

Went here for the first time with family, my boyfriend order boneless wings and instead got bone in wings, and when the server was confronted about the mistake he proceeded to argue with us telling that he never gets these things wrong and that he writes everything down! (My boyfriend never gets bone in wings lol.) He took the plate from my boyfriend and aggressively slammed it into the trash throwing away a plate of theirs as well. The manager was also confronted as she was very apologetic and understanding, although she said our server was getting sent home for his outrageous behavior but still was working other tables. In these situations servers need to learn how to breathe as mistakes do happen, & in a work place like this THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. Apologize and move on!

1st time here. We got the bbq chicken salad, the Cobb, salad, guacamole chips, 2 kids tenders, and spicy watermelon margaritas.The chicken in our salads were so dry that it stuck to the roof of my mouth and guacamole was flavorless...maybe the kitchen forgot to add salt and lime. Seems like a cool place to hang out and may need to give it 1 more chance. But for over $100 I'd rather go to Yardhouse.

Super slow for a Saturday, couldn't figure out how to turn in the driveway- only one entrance. For it being really slow and no tables in our section our waiter barely checked on us. Family of four, and we paid nearly $200. Seemed a little expensive for mediocre burgers/sandwiches. The mini golf was cute but after paying that much to eat didn't want to reach into my pockets for more.

Earnie - was an attentive waiter for our table, very respectful, made sure we had everything we needed even in passing.... Shane and his group will be coming back for sure for the food the service and the band ..... we had a fantastic time and can't to return

I don't think we will be back. The place is much louder than we had thought, there was a live band but we left before they started, blood on the toilet paper in one of the stalls... the food was basic, ordered two strawberry mojitos, the first one had a couple diced up pieces, second one was done correctly. My guest ordered their burger medium well... and well.. I'll just leave the pic of what it was. Ordered garlic fries, and regular was brought out. The food runner did bring an order of garlic fries out immediately. I just.... Wasn't a fan of the experience.

Good food! Went on a Sunday at around 7:30 PM got seated right away. Seems like they have a mini golf course and a batting cage. It's way too cold and dark so we did not do that. We were just hungry ready to eat, but there was quite a few people doing the outdoor activities. I got the Alice cooper burger; my husband got machines with steak. The rest of the friends with us also liked their food.

Food is subpar. Calamari is good. Coleslaw doesn't taste that good. Fries are nothing special. The food comes out superrrr slow. I've been here twice and it took SO long each time. My last time, I only ordered calamari , a sandwich, fries and a side salad. I waited a long time for them to take my order , and also a long time for the food to come out. The entertainment is great though and staff is really nice. I probably won't be back for a 3rd time to eat unless I was strictly getting a drink at the bar and playing mini golf.

I was here with a big group - a party of nine with four kids and we had a great time with incredible service, great food and wonderful atmosphere. Ernie and Buddy run a great venue! I can't wait to return on a clear day to play mini golf and experience the batting cage. The beer selection was incredible, there was a lot going on with the screens, and the music was top-notch. The food had an enormous variety and everybody enjoyed their plate. Order the giant pretzel- you will not regret it. I had the demon chicken and it was flavorful and everyone else enjoyed their burgers and salads.

Came here for my birthday with the family and it was great. It was a Monday night and raining so it was slow as to be expected. The food and service was fantastic! The batting cages are hit or miss so they hooked it up knowing that it's a little glitchy and it was still fun. Can't wait to come back when it's warmer to mini golf. I really enjoyed the atmosphere and the menu is amazing. 10/10!
