Roberta's, a great traditional Mexican restaurant always, has added an impressive Sat/Sun brunch buffet! A great selection of items, including omelets and chiliquilles made to order. They've expanded into an adjacent space, adding room for this awesome new upgrade. I really loved it, give it a try!

I loved the variety. I felt it had most of the popular dishes available. The menudo was good, the side dishes were good also and my husband did the fresh omelette made right in front of you. We went right before the rush so the food we had sat a little but when the crowd grew, they brought out new stuff. The people there were friendly and attentive. They always came by to check on us. I would go again and take my mom and sister. They love Mexican food!

The most amazing rice and beans I've ever had outside of Mexico! Food is Michoacán style and very good -- mole is divine. Pozole is great. Fresh chips and salsa are A+. The only thing I didn't really like were the crispy beef tacos. Servers are very nice.

We went for the brunch buffet that's only available on the weekends from 9-3. For only $30 you get bottomless mimosas, fresh tortillas, an omelette/chilequilles station, and the best buffet I have ever had. We got there around 10 am and everything tasted so fresh! They had lots to offer including soups (abondigas, menudo, and pesole), birria tacos, ceviche, enchiladas, tacos de papas, nopales y eggs and so much more. They also have American breakfast items like pancakes, sausage and bacon. The employees were so friendly, informative and prompt! The restaurant is very clean. You walk in and the buffet area is in another room, separate to the restaurant. I kind of didn't want to make this review, because I wanted to gatekeep so it didn't get too busy when I come in next, but honestly everyone should give this place a try! ALSO the red salsa they offer at the buffet bar is VERY GOOD.

I can't believe that I have lived in this neighborhood for 33 years and never tried this place!!!! What a great gem!!!!Authentic, delicious, and lots of options!!! Too many options (I'm not complaining), I had a hard time to choose. We settled for enchiladas and the secret family recipe birria. The food was excellent! The portions were huge. If you are not a big eater, one dish can easily be split into two meal. The price was reasonable. This is definitely now my go-to for Mexican food!!! The complimentary chips and salsa were great, although our waitress took them when I was still munching on them, that was a little bit odd. The chips were fresh and most likely homemade. There is a small private parking lot. Inside the restaurant, they have two section for seating. The side that we sat on had comfortable booths. The service was a little bit slow but very friendly.

I was about to order, stepped outside to ask my girlfriend what she wanted. Sophia chose to confront and verbally insult me while I stepped out, loudly saying "you need to order something stupid f&:king retard, idiot" in front of the store. Resturant was empty, now I know why.

it has been over 5 years since i patronized this location. Decided to try their bacon breakfast burrito. it was just alright. kinda small for the price point, but then again, prices have risen recently. not too much bacon, eggs, or cheese. there were plenty of undercooked potatoes. The overall flavor was ok. their accompanying red sauce was very very mild. No kick of spice. I would say my prior ratings are the same -2 stars

Buffet didnt look appealing so decided to just order from the menu. I didn't see chimichanga on the menu but I asked if they made them and she said yes. I got it and it looked good until I put my fork on it and it was a burrito; not even crispy like a chimichanga is supposed to be. waitress got an attitude with me after that and changed her whole demeanor I will definitely not be going back and we drove far from Citrus heights to try it out Felipe's is still and will always be my favorite
