Riverside Clubhouse

I was here for a work holiday party and I was pleasantly surprised by the venue. It was very well decorated and the food was great. Staff were also very attentive. If I'm ever in the area, I'd love to try check out their regular menu and give it a more thoughtful review!

Riverside Clubhouse is always a fantastic spot for both happy hour and brunch! The atmosphere is welcoming with a great vibe, and the service is excellent, attentive and professional, making sure you're comfortable and enjoying yourself. I was there with some friends for happy hour and had an amazing time, especially with the beautiful waterfall wall in the back patio area. Their drinks are absolutely delicious! I've probably tried all of the happy hour cocktails during happy hour, and there are too many favorites to name! We had food too but I was too busy enjoying myself to take photos. (Sometimes that happens) Whether it's brunch or happy hour, Riverside Clubhouse never disappoints. Highly recommend!

They don't take reservations on Saturdays for breakfast but we got a table for 6 right away. The back area has outdoor seating with a lovely wall to wall water feature that is beautiful. Along with a fireplace. Our waitress "Wendy" was attentive and nice. I had the avocado bagel that comes with a side salad. It was sooo good! Ordered the donuts for the table as they are meant to be shared. Prices are reasonable and would definitely come back for breakfast.

Waited for 20min to order a beer, then ordered the calamari as an appetizer and all the breading fell off!

Good eatery near downtown Sac. Happy hour from 4-6pm on weekdays, good prices! Parking is not fun, there's a small parking lot in the back but it was full and the rest of the street parking is for the neighborhood :/Food was decent, the best part was the goat cheese appetizer. The pasta was good but nothing amazing. The burger was asked to be cooked medium rare and it was medium leaning toward medium well. Our server was nice and attentive. The ambiance is loud. Friday evening was generally packed but the tables are spaced nicely. However, it's hard to hold a conversation on the patio!

Went here on President's Day for dinner. Ordered a Riverside 'rita and short rib dinner entree with mashed potatoes and delicious gravy. That meal was delicious! Service was good and fast. My friend and I just sat at a high table in the bar area, so no wait. The drink was too orange flavored for me and reminded me more of a screwdriver than a margarita. I didn't get to see the whole space, but I believe there was a separate dining room and when you walk in there was a fireplace, comfy lounge area to the right- not sure if that's just a place to wait if they are busy or if you can grab drinks and sit there. There are also TVs in the bar area if you are looking to watch some sportsball. Would definitely go back...and interested in their happy hour as well - which seemed to end right when we arrived at 6pm. My friend got the salmon dish which looked pretty good and I think she said she liked too.

Food was so good! We got the Goatcheese for an appetizer and it was amazing, definitely recommend. Burger was great and Pork Chops were on point!

The service was super slow on a Sunday afternoon. I have not been here before, so I'm not sure if this is the norm. We didn't have a reservation but were seated within 5-10 minutes. Once we sat down, we noticed the waiters were busy getting food to other tables. Our server didn't come take our orders after we sat down for at least 10-15 minutes. It took forever for our drinks to arrive, which is just hot tea and ice tea. It probably took another 25-30 minutes for the food to arrive. It wasn't very busy or packed because it was almost 2:00 pm. We certainly didn't order anything that takes a long time to cook. I assumed they were really under staff. Good thing I was with good company and kept each other busy with the conversations. I order the Breakfast Sandwich with fried eggs, mustard aioli, cheese, and ham on grilled sourdough with country potatoes. The sandwich was very good and the sourdough bread was perfectly toasted. It was very filling and I had to take the other half sandwich home. I would come back for breakfast or lunch to try other items when I'm in the area. Hopefully, they have the staffing under control.

What a wonderful discovery! We were pleasantly surprised by both the food and the service. We sat in the patio area, which featured a fireplace and a water fountain wall. We ordered the crab dip, and it was amazing. One of us had the special, which was chicken Parmesan, while I had the fish and chips. I highly recommend both dishes; we were thoroughly full afterward. It's definitely a place to try! Although we didn't have room for dessert this time, we'll be sure to save some for next time since everything is homemade. You really must try this restaurant!
