The newest guy who works here is the worst. He's always on the phone with his earbuds and takes his sweet time getting to the cash register. Seems like he's bothered having to help a customer. Your customers come first dude!

This place is right down the street so it is convenient, but way over priced on everything . The guy who works almost everyday has an attitude problem and is always following me around the store as if I were going to steal something from him. This really insults me because I spend so much money at this store. I don't think I will ever go back.

I love this little market place because it's convenient if you live in River Park. They have a decent spread. From milk to beer; chips to frozen pizzas; and all the snacks to fill your junk food craving. They also have a decent selection of wines for a small liquor store. River Park residents, support this local market! You never know when you'll be in the middle of baking and need eggs! You'll be thankful its right around the corner!!

Three reasons this place is my favorite tienda (besides it being right around the corner from my house):- They always have a cooler full of Ben & Jerry's pints, with a myriad of flavors- They always have cold beer - They always have DjarumsOn the few occasions I've had to buy something potentially sketchy like milk, it's neither expired nor some creepy unknown brand with foreign writing. The guy who works there seemingly every moment of his waking life is really cool and friendly. They get a lot of business from the Paradise Beach crowd, and he's pretty patient. I've seen some drunk rude a-holes give him lip and he just tells them politely to get lost.

If you get asked to redo your debit / credit card beware and demand your receipt. I was double charged and showed my bank statement and they refused and denied being 'marconis river park' market. Had to resolve with my bank.

Don't trust their operating hours, especially in the morning, they won't be open. Whoever opens opens late consistently which is frustrating if you need to dimply grab a few things in your way to work. I'm big on supporting small local businesses but I'd rather just go somewhere else then give them my money.

I really dont understand this place; they seem to act like they're doing you a favor for being there.I've got a corner store two blocks from my house, but every now and then I feel like going for a walk/drive so I'll go here; and most of the time the clerk is just chatting away on his phone/listening to music; he'll ring me up, take my money, but them make me reach under the divider, and across the counter, to get what I purchased, when it would be much easier for him to slide the items over to me. And the last two times I went there, they seemed to not really care to make any money to begin with.Tonight I went in, went straight to the counter (what I wanted to purchase was kept behind the counter), and stood there. After a minute, I looked around and saw two people doing inventory; a minute later, one of the clerks headed to the counter (I assumed to help me) but he asked me to move, so I backed away from the counter, and he started doing inventory on the items at the counter. So I walked out, half assuming that he'd offer to actually help me; but no ... he just kept counting. The time before that, I walked in, again went straight to the counter, stood there for several minutes (enough time to just grab what I wanted, and walk out without paying), and the entire time the clerk was in back just stocking. So again, I just left. What's the point of stocking, and doing inventory, if you're not selling product to customers standing at your counter? Why bother being in a customer facing business, if you're just going to talk on your phone and not hear your customer asking "hows your day going?"
