Ridge Golf Course & Events Center

This is a review of the event center.I came here with a group for lunch. The facility is very nice, attractive, clean and pleasant. It has a quasi Tuscan ambiance, and very open to the golf course beyond.We were seated in a separate party/private dining room from the rest of the restaurant area, and the set up was very nice with large tables and accommodating space.They had set up a coffee and refreshment area in an adjoining room with a great view out to the golf course.I had chicken for lunch and it was excellent, far better than many catered type events. It was on a bed of mashed potatoes and had asparagus, both well prepared.There seemed to be a bit of understaffing which is to be expected these days, with some minor missteps. For example, the creamer for coffee came way after the coffee service was set up and available.All in all I do recommend this place. It is open to the public and it is a very nice option for a good meal.

We had our wedding here, and it truly was the wedding of our dreams! Jen was amazing to work with, she is great at communicating and answering all questions! It rained the day of our wedding and The Ridge was flexible with us and let us push the ceremony back by an hour (cutting cocktail hour in half). Jen helped me maintain my cool and was present throughout the day! I honestly can't even put into words how amazing Jen is, she was a soundboard with what to do about the rain. I feel most would have pushed to move it inside, but she did everything she could to keep it outside & it was truly amazing.Shane the event manager was great to work with as well! He made sure the reception went on perfectly and was communicative all throughout the night to make sure we maintained on schedule. The whole staff at The Ridge was great to work with, from the individuals wiping down the seats after the rain, to driving the golf cart for a guest to come to the ceremony site, to individuals serving the food. Everyone was so kind to work with! Now the food! OMG so GOOD. Our guests are still raving about the food. One quote: "Omg the food was superb!" When you go to weddings, one of the most important aspect is the food, and the chef delivered! Absolutely amazing!! I can truly continue to rave about this place, but no one wants to read a novel! Book here, and you will not be disappointed!

Amazing Wedding Venue! We had scheduled our wedding two years prior at a different venue and had to reschedule because of Covid in 2020. Fast forward to this year when our wedding date was 08/21/21, and had the Caldor fire heading right toward our fully outdoor garden wedding venue in Camino, Ca. We ended up not being able to get insurance per our contract at our old venue due to the fires. My friends, photographer, DJ, and coordinator started calling around when my maid of honor initially contacted The Ridge. They had a last minute cancellation due to a covid situation with the wedding that was supposed to take place on our same day. Due to the last minute cancellation we were able to have our wedding there and keep our same wedding date. They offered to help us 3 DAYS BEFORE our wedding! Sandra, Jen, and all the staff at the ridge really pulled through for us and we will never be able to thank them enough! Additionally they had a large bridal and separate groom suite for us and our families to get ready in! Our special day came out better than we had ever expected and our guests loved the venue! We received so many compliments on how classy and sophisticated the wedding turned out and everyone was shocked that they pulled it off in 3 days. I think my new husband and I are still in shock on how well it turned out! Even better, now we will be able to always visit the venue, play golf and eat & drink on our anniversaries! This will be a longer review for me as I think the shorter the better when it comes to reviews. First I went to a golf tournament there. The driving range was in good condition and made it easy to get ready to golf.The hole in one and closest to the pin contests were fun. The green's were in good shape and the course played hard but well according to everyone. I was busy helping with the tournament.The staff was nice and very helpful, especially Jerry. The weather was a little hit but generally good. The dinner was excellent. I only eat the chicken was soft, tender and seasoned perfectly. The potatoes, veggies, rolls and desert was hot and tasty. Ready for some pictures?

I had my wedding at The Ridge June 2014, and was more than pleased with Liz, our wedding coordinator. She took amazing care of us, and made sure every detail went exactly as we talked about. I also want to praise Liz for her constant contact throughout the process, especially since I planned my wedding from Houston; her willingness to stay in touch on a regular basis, definitely eliminated much of my stress.I must add that the bridal suite was also a huge bonus to the already gorgeous venue. We had plenty of space for 8 girls, 2 hair stylists, 1 makeup artist, and our photographer to all relax and get ready from 10am until our event.I highly suggest considering The Ridge and their amazing team to help make your day as beautiful as mine was.Thanks Liz!!! :)

Unfortunately Liz Oviedo was rude and anything but helpful with vendors. She had to say some sarcastic remarks and was too busy with her baby instead of being on the job. Overall unreliable, disrespectful, and did not do what she promised. She should be replaced.

I had an annual event there in 2021 and rebooked for 2022. At the event in 2022 the lighting in the banquet room was broken leaving us with stark lighting for the whole evening. In the prior year they provided a stage, they wouldn't supply a stage this year (said it was broken). They pulled the buffet early despite being told there were some late people coming causing some to miss the meal.They charge 500-700 for the banquet room. When I asked if they could waived all or part of that fee given all the problems, they said no.I will never have my company event there again.

We recently had our anniversary party at The Ridge Event Center. It was everything that we had hoped for. We were in good hands with Jen Reagan, the Event Coordinator. She met with us before and guided us through the planning details. She made us feel comfortable during the process and party. We had confidence in her abilities. Everything came through as promised. A wonderful time was had by all. The venue was beautiful, the staff very helpful and pleasant, and the food was much enjoyed.

We held my daughter's wedding at the Ridge in September 2021. I cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience. From the moment my daughter and her fiance met with Sandra to look into the possibility of using the Ridge as our wedding venue to the event itself, everything was absolutely perfect. They kept us informed along the way. Jen, who was responsible for coordinating the wedding, handled every detail, answered all our many questions, and ensured the day was magical. They even had alternate plans in place in case of rain or additional COVID mandates.The Ridge offers so many amenities on top of being an absolutely beautiful venue. The bridal suite was absolutely perfect. We spent the day relaxed and pampered. No stress! The groom's room was fun and interactive for the guys. The service we received throughout the day was top notch. The food was delicious. Absolutely no complaints. Although there were golfers during the day, it felt like the place was ours. The Ridge ensured our day was uninterrupted. We received so many compliments from our guests regarding the facility and the service. Magical day!

I absolutely love this place. Everyone is always so friendly and they always go above and beyond the call of duty to make sure my experience is a good one. Couldn't recommend this place more!! Keep up the great work.
