The Kimpton Sawyer HotelJanuary Monday 2/3/2025Happy Hour 5:00 pm.We had the oysters, they were okay. Not the best I've had but hey it's happy hour. $2.00 for each. Service was Peter and another guy, both were attentive. It wasn't busy at all. Their Casa Dragones tequila was $130 a shot. That's a bit pricy when you can buy the whole bottle for that. But, hey- they have it! The ambiance was peaceful. There's many places to sit and explore. Looking out the window was lovely. Better service than food. I'm a truth teller as I see it. This place is a joke. Upon arrival to the Kimpton no one greeted us or even bothered to open the door. So much for a luxury hotel. Came to Revival after work on a Wednesday to meet some friends. Instead of being greeted I was asked for Identification. ( my Girlfriends I was meeting did not have to show ID). Upon opening my purse I realized I didn't have my Drivers License. I told the Bartender I have a digital copy and asked if she would accept this. She said she was ok with it but would need to ask her manager. The Manager couldn't even give me the decency of a conversation, she just said no and looked downI told the bartender I didn't know I needed Identification to Dine here on a Wednesday afternoon. So I left. I totally understand it's on me for not having my ID, however, the rudeness from the waitress was unreal. The place down the street happily took the digital copy of my identification - so I don't get the issue to eat at a restaurant. I won't be back here or ever to stay at the Kimpton. Downtown Sacramento is dying and this is exactly why. Lack of customer service.

Hip bar upstairs at the Sawyer Hotel across from Golden One Arena is a perfect spot to grab a drink before the game. You take the elevator up to the third floor from the hotel lobby. There is an expansive pool deck with lounge chairs and fire pits overlooking DoCo Plaza and the Arena. They serve plastic cups so you can take your drinks outside. Bar and outdoor seating is open, table seating inside is hosted. We ate half dozen oysters and drank a few adult beverages. Sonya assisted us at the bar and was very helpful. On game nights they have a few specialty purple cocktails made with lavender syrup - go Kings!

What a fun spot! I came here to grab a drink with a friend and it was both our our first times. It's pretty easy to get to. There is an elevator in the Sawyer lobby right at the entrance, and you take it to the thirst floor to get to Revival. Upon arrival we were greeted by a hostess. We had a reservation so we had no waiting period. We were seated at a booth, and helped within five minutes. The cocktails are pretty pricey ($18 each for the Pink Panthers). although, they are super tasty! We loved the Pink Panthers. It does have egg in it which I thought was interesting. The ambience is truly unmatched. There is a beautiful view of DOCO, and huge pool, vibey lighting, good music, and beautiful decor. It's an indoor-outdoor set-up, so the patio was partially covered and partially not. I love it. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Not much to say about the place. There was a dozen of us. Gave us a hard time to get in. And when we get in, we're we're brought to the outdoor table/cabana. We're chose three different alcohols we were planning to order. But then we get told there is no bottle service. NO BOTTLE SERVICE!! The place is nicely decorated and the rooftop was somewhat aesthetically pleasing. That's bout it.

Cool rooftop bar in downtown Sacramento right near Golden 1 Center. Relaxed vibe with low tables and couches. Had some drinks and light apps. Big plus is they have crushed ice-- always a win. Cheddar cheese plate and bread was legit a half slice of American cheese and dried bread-- could pass on that one. Caesar salad was good and spicy!

Revival is always such a fun vibe - love the cute aesthetics. Have been here several times for cocktails before a night out/concert and recently checked out the wreath making series. Recommend doing valet for sure!

It's a vibe! Love the decor and the ambiance. Feels super upscale. It's very intimate to me. It's the bar/lounge of the hotel Sawyer, but feels like a place of its own. It's open to the public you don't have to be staying at the hotel to visit. Go during sunset golden hour, the views are spectacular. The pool outside just makes it feel so calm. They do serve food not just bar drinks. Bartenders are work fast but usually attentive. The drinks are okay. Presentations always a 5/5 and it's tasty, but not much alcohol. I'd recommend this spot if you're looking for low key atmosphere for a small talk or relaxed night. Not so much for a bar night out. Maybe you can start here but won't be the vibe you're looking for for an actual night out. There is music but it's more of a lounge.

I was looking for a rooftop bar near DOCO and wanted to try this place out. The hotel was very nice looking and luxurious on our way up to the bar. When we arrived we were greeted and sat at one of the sofa couches. We ordered two cocktails which were delicious. We were checked on frequently and the servers were knowledgeable and accommodating. It was raining so we couldn't fully enjoy the rooftop bar but we walked out to look at the view quickly before we finished our drinks. The ambiance was very classy and upscale just like the hotel that it is in. Would recommend for an elegant evening of craft cocktails.

Very yummy.For their PICA, they had prosciutto wrapped-honeydew melon slices.I should have stopped here, but I ordered while I was hungry so I also had SALPICON which were octopus slices on a bed of veggies.My server was super friendly, fast and accurate.Space is beautiful.
