Reid's Martial Arts

I've always feared of being put in a situation where I'm unable to defend myself or my family. I came to this school through a recommendation of a coworker after sharing my interest of wanting to learn self defense.I was invited to participate in a trial lesson and was hooked immediately. All the teachers are very respectful and patient with all the students no matter the age. Every teacher seems to have this calmness and confidence about them that you just have to admire. They emmitt this very positive energy that is very contagious and just makes want to be part of the team. They really take the time to encourage every student and commend them on every accomplishment. I can see myself doing this for the rest of my life, which is why it really didn't shock me when I found out that they had students that had been attending Reid's for more than twenty years. This place is a game changer and I highly recommend it to anyone that has a interest in starting self defense.

I am impressed with the instructors at Reids Martial Arts. Master Linda, Darin, Mitchell and Sam are all competent martial artists in their own right, but caring, attentive and knowledgeable teachers as well. The class sizes are large enough to hold a class but not so large that my daughter is lost amongst the students. We drive by a lot of martial arts dojos on the way to Reid's - and it's well worth it. I hold a lot of respect for the Reid family and the extended family they have created at the dojo.I would recommend Reid's Martial Arts to anyone interested in learning Kenpo at a positive, safe and respectful facility. The entire Reid family are excellent Karate teachers who know how to make it fun. As a 50+ woman I was made to feel comfortable even though I'm fairly clumsy! Kids in junior class seem to have fun, and classes are smaller than the larger studios in town giving kids more attention. The monthly cost is vey reasonable.
