I came here with my boyfriend and friend on a Friday around 5:30pm (happy hour). This is actually Cornerstone Cafe and Bakery but it turns into a lounge and happy hour spot later in the day.We got a booth and each ordered the code red drinks (watermelon red bull and vodka) - so yummy and food off the happy hour menu - which were huge portions! I got the sliders, my bf got dirty fries, and friend got popcorn chicken (which doesnt say on the menu but it comes on a bed of fries). Our service was top of the line too! I would definitely go back!

Happy Hour sips and bites at Redlight Lounge (Cornerstone Cafe by day) party of 3 on Friday evening before catching a Broadway Sac performance at SAFE PAC. Located across from Fleet Feet Sports, next to Beach Hut Deli. Bar and table/booth seating. The baseball game was playing onscreen at the bar, while larger projections on the wall by our booth was showing SpongeBob. We each got the Code Red (tito's, grenadine, red bull red edition [watermelon]) drink to start. Cheers.I had the popcorn chicken, which was regular sized portion and came with hella fries. Seasoning was good, asked for ranch on the side, and ketchup provided at the table. My friends got the sliders and a side order of sweet potato fries, and a loaded/dirty fries -- so much bacon! There was clearly an abundance of fries, and we took what we couldn't finish home. Clean restroom, with selfie ring mirror lighting and Dyson hand dryer. Free street parking along 23rd. Good service, before it got super busy for a Friday night. I'd still like to return to try the Cornerstone menu.

Came here for a friend's event, he was DJing.Good ambiance, great sound system, nice light system, bad bartenders with ridiculous reasoning... they can't even make an Old Fashioned...Glad I was able to support a friend's show. I'd return for the music, but not for the drinks or customer service.

Let me say we had a good time. Had it not been for all the other things, this would be our new go-to spot. They had an event and we went for my partners birthday. First, 4 of the 7 people in our party bought tickets on eventbrite. Eventbrite clearly states refund on case by case basis and up to the discretion of the owner. I then inquired about bottle service. I was given a total price, told I could have 10 people, selected a booth, and asked to zelle a $100 deposit. First issue. I asked if we could get a refund for the tickets we bought bc they were now included in the bottle service...nope. Asked if they could deduct the purchase price from the VIP bottle service price..nope. They blamed eventbrite and said, "Feel free to give your tickets away as they are still good." What?! We got there and didn't have to wait long. They told us the booth we selected wasn't actually a booth and took us to another table. After 5 of us sat we realized that there was no way our party of 7 would fit. They moved us, without any problem, to a bigger table in the back... Table decor was great. Servers were good too. They even came out with a little dance and sign for my partners bday. Djs and music was great. We tried to order food and they told us they stopped serving food at 830 (we arrived at 930). Attentive most of the night. Then they brought the receipt in which they'd already charged me, (they had asked earlier to hold my card). An added $50 "service fee" was added. No one mentioned this ever, and when we asked the servers they said they weren't sure but would bring over the promoters, then the promoter said, "it's the restaurants fee and we can't do anything about it." Then they had the full price, including the deposit. I asked, thinking it was just a simple oversight, and the promoter said, "uuuhhh yeah, you'll get a refund of the $100 back tomorrow." Again, no one mentioned this, and he said there was nothing he could do about it. Also, at this point, I was already charged. We also left a tip for the servers as most of the issues were with the promoters. Days later (3), and still no refund!I messaged the promoter I spoke to there and then got a text back from the promoter I booked with saying he would issue the refund. I got the refund 10-15 minutes later; however, it's been 3 days, why do I have to contact you after I was told I would get it tomorrow? The customer service and attitude of the promoters was not it, and the communication was not good or clear. We all loved the ambiance & music, but the nickel & diming, the misinformation, the lack of accommodation, and the inability to follow through made this our first and last time attending. Very dissapointed.

dont go. lol the professionalism displayed when they decide if they like your crowd or not is horrid. the mannerism and body language expressed is straight out disrespectful. I asked them " Is tonight hip hop night" and they simply gave me the look and said did it say that on the website and i was blown away from the response so i didnt even wanna respond cuz i was recommended from a friend to come. I still went in cuz my homegirl and her mans were inside already, also it was dead before and the whole time we were there. the asian girl in the front w the tats said "thank you maam" after i paid the 5$ cover fee for a weak turnout of an event. She was lookin for a reaction and i simply paid no mind to it. On an event they had tonight they had no soju bottles for sale so my friends got other drinks, they're crashouts so they dont care even if its an L establishment. Felt bad cuz my friend recommended it so i recommended it to my whole group. When we left the african american security guard was walking in and moved aside to let us leave instead of holdin the door to show he doesnt care. I will now be steering all my contacts and mutuals away from this place from now on. Turned out to be a total vibekiller and waste. "Beauty behind the madness" lmfao
