Decent pizza and salads for a reasonable price. Three of us for an early dinner. Thursday night, the dining room is just 50% full of folks. The overhead rock music sound system is a bit too loud. Our table conversation needed to be held with strong voices.Servers are casual, friendly and helpful. Menus and ice water placed immediately. We had a margerita and combo vege pies, a Cesar salad and a combo spinach salad. All was tasty. I enjoyed every bite.Ordered a bottle of Imagery pinot noir. Enjoyable. In the past six months I've been to 5 pizza places around Roseville. First place winner is Flour Dust on Foothills Blvd. Red's here is #2.Well done. Thanks!

I really don't understand why people like this place so much. Perhaps I ordered the wrong things Ordered margherita, olives, house salad, beer.Beer selection is greatOlives were olivesMargherita was a bit flat. Tasted okay, just didn't excite me in anyway. It wasn't bad. What someone would expect but definitely doesn't blow anyone away. House salad was disappointing. Size was good, but really lacking something. A goat cheese medallion or a sprinkling of feta would have helped. Even some walnuts just to give a little more dimension to the salad. Nothing really to complain about, service was great, just nothing really stood out to me. Wouldn't come back.

Although only 36 miles from our home in Elk Grove, Roseville brings a somewhat different experience when it comes to dining and shopping. Therefore, my wife and I are always excited to make the trek to visit our friends and experience a new restaurant. Since we were enjoying some delicious fruit-forward wine, we figured that pizza would be a good pairing. After viewing various pizza establishments via Yelp, we decided to check out Red's Pizzeria and Taphouse. We chose to order the following pies: Red Made Me Do It, Spicy Blue, and the Cowboy Combo. Unfortunately, we placed an order for pick-up; therefore, this review cannot speak to the restaurant experience. However, I can say that all three pizzas were delicious and favored by all parties. I specifically enjoyed the Cowboy Combo for it's unique blend of bison and pork sausage. Initially, I expected it to have a gamey flavor, but was impressed that it did not. Lastly, the freshness of the ingredients and quality of crust did not leave us with the food coma feeling that sometimes occurs after devouring pizza.Next time I'm in Roseville, I look forward to dining in and having a couple of brews and pizza...thank you Red's Pizzeria and Taphouse!

It was time to try something different at Reds. It can be very difficult to find parking sometimes and had to park far away. (The better to walk off the food.)The place is pretty small inside so it can be hard to find a spot. We got the last table in the back. This time we tried the roasted carrots and a veggie pizza. They also have a good selection of local beers.Since they are so popular you may want to get the when they open or later in the day. Lunch time on weekends is very busy. Will be back to try something else on the menu.

Bruhhhhh....don't know why I didn't try this place earlier....oh yeah I do. The prices.Been wanting to try this place out for a while and never got the chance but a friend suggested it so off we went.We stuck with the mains as we already saw the prices/menu online....wife and I decided to split the calzone but after looking at pizzas coming out of the oven, I decided I needed one.The pizza is that perfect woodfired thin crust taste. I got the Spicy Blue, which tasted spicy but not blue....the amount of arugula was overwhelming so it was just bitter and spicy.I did have a slice of my friend's custom pizza which allowed me to taste more than just bread salad and again, the pizza is nice. Good sauce that's not too sweet...not too much cheese, a good spread of toppings, good crunch on the bottom....it was great. The only part that I don't like is the price... I mean I can get three 2-topping Domino's pizzas for the same price as this one....is it worth three times as much? Actually probably yes. But I'm a fat bastard here. Maybe if I only ate one pizza instead of three I wouldn't be such a fat bastard. Maybe one day I'll consider not eating so much and justify spending more to get less. The birria calzone, however, was definitely worth the price. Huge chunks of meat, a substantial amount of consumé, and the best part? It actually tastes like birria and not some BS "this is our birria" BS. It's also sizeable enough to split and both be full....something I don't feel the pizzas would do at only $5ish less. The bowl the consumé needs to be deeper and not as wide, but since these bowls are so large, it presents alot of waste. If you take the consumé home to make something with it then great, but I suspect most people just dump it.We took it home and I used it as pasta sauce topped with onions and cilantro.Overall, this would be a place I took someone on a special occassion, but the cost to food ratio to me isn't worth it, but it's worth the splurge for sure.

New favorite spot in rocklin! The service is always so great! Gives a warm local vibe with delicious food. They have a great draft list of local nor cal brewers. I was nervous to try the birria calzone, but it did not disappoint! I like how they have a habanero honey, boy it is spicy! But delicious! Provide a good variety of pizza creations! I love how they have a build your own pizza option as well. I would highly recommend trying reds!

A late lunch that turned into us discovering a new favorite restaurant in the area. The menu doesn't look disruptive or anything shockingly extraordinary BUT everything was EXTRAORDINARY. The Caesar salad - Smokey (like how?) but was delicious. The wings- a nice crisp but not dry! And the pizza- perfect to share amongst two people. Crust was chewy and thin. The service was excellent and friendly. There are different options for seating: regular 4 top tables, counter seating and a community high top table. We were told some specials such as Tuesday between 4-6p is $14 pizzas with two toppings and I believe there is also a cheese pizza day where it is also somewhere around that range. Will be going back or getting it to go. Either way- so glad we gave this place a try.

My partner and I stumbled across this spot while waiting for out movie to start at the nearby theatre. We embarrassingly walked in about 15 minutes before they closed and didn't realize until afterwards. Even with that, the staff welcomed us warmly with a smile. They greeted us upon arrival and offered us a table. We arrived on a Saturday night and there was plenty of seating available. They had booth and barstool options available. The ambience is sort of romantic. It's a dark atmosphere with low lighting and music. Beer on tap and wine were both available. They cook their pizza in a huge pizza oven in-house. Everything was fresh -even the parmesan. The staff who were helping us are outstanding. They offered us advice on their menu, checked on us several times, and made sure our space was comfortable. We ordered a simple pep pizza, and it was truly flawless. The crust was amazing in itself, and the pepperonis were super flavorful. The fresh parmesan was the cherry on top!So glad we found this spot. Apparently they have discounts on Tuesdays, so I'll definitely be sure to check out more of their toppings eventually!

First time at Reds. The service was great with Mary as our hostess. We started with the wood fired carrots over a light crema, fig jam, and fried onions. The balance was amazing. Next we had the birria calzone and the three mushroom pizza all cooked to perfection. I didn't get to meet the owner, but was told it's a veteran owned business that has outstanding food and service. Well done Red!
