Real Pie Company

AMAZING now added to my list of go to spots on broadway. The pie milkshake is one of the best milkshakes I've ever had with buttermilk ice cream and blackberry and blueberry pie. The pie in the shake added a nice texture. Also, the buttermilk icecream is custom made from Gunther's. I am eager to try the savory pies like the chicken pot pie of shepherd's pie (they were out when we visited) but I heard that they also supply to Nugget. I'll be picking up a savory pie soon.The staff was nice and answered all my questions. I like the vibe of this location, you get to see the bakers at work!

Unfortunately they are no longer offering the pie shakes... Pies are still great, and our favorite is the butterscotch banana cream pie.I really only come for the pie shakes though.

Yum!We tried1 - blackberry blue berry 4.5 of 5. Perfect balance of flavors;2 - rashpberry rhubarb 5+/5. Will have dreams about this pie; and3 - butterscotch bannana 5/5. Not a butterscotch fan but this could convert me soo yummy.4 - maple pecan shortbread 4/5 really like not too sweet5 - lemon shortbread 4.5/5. Good but would have liked more lemon.People are very sweet and nice. Gave us a sample of their buttermilk ice cream. We will be back to get that with either the apple galette or the pear pie.Sorry no pixs we ate before i got the chance.

I can't even begin to explain my love for this place! So thankful my friend, who prefers pie to cake, introduced to this place!! The savory pies are my bf and my go too. But I can't resist a sweet treat hehe!! Such unique flavors and delicious crusts. The vibe is so warm and comforting too and the staff are sweet!

Real Pie Company has been on my list to visit for a while. I've heard great things, but haven't had a lot of pie needs or cravings lately. Today I was driving through the area and decided I had to stop and check it out.There is street parking, and it looked like there were limited spots on the side of the restaurant off of X street Broadway Alley. The parking on the side of the building closer to Broadway (the main street) belong to the Smog business and there was a sign out to notify people.I parked right in front of the building and walked in where I was immediately greeted by two friendly staff members behind the counter. When I let them know it was my first time they gave me the rundown on the different options available. I love that there are options for slices and full pies as well as other offerings like whole savory pies, cookies and drinks.I ended up ordering a slice of Key Lime Pie ($6.25) and a seasonal slice of Mocha Cream Pie ($6.50) along with a Maple Pecan Cookie ($1.50) and a Meyer Lemon Shortbread cookie ($1.50).The team there was really friendly and packed everything up nicely and with care and rang me out.When I got home I immediately snapped some photos and shared the slices with my husband. We're big Key Lime pie fans and while this version is much different than what we've become accustomed to with some Florida recipes, it was still very tasty. The lime flavor was lighter and it was fluffy versus dense.The mocha cream pie was a bit more dense, but still fluffy and I liked that the bottom of the crust hada layer of chocolate.I'm saving the cookies to enjoy with tea later, but I'm excited to try them as well.The business itself is definitely a pick up and take home spot, but it's perfect for a little treat or to bring something to a party or event. The savory pies also sounded delicious and I'll have to try them next time I visit.

Pre-ordered butterscotch banana cream pie for Friendsgiving gathering. It was easy to order by phone and pay. Pick up was smooth. Luckily, it wasn't too busy on Saturday morning. Another guest brought key lime pie. Both pies were really good. Several times, I've walked in and missed out on a pie that I was hoping to get. Pre-order is the way to go!

The sweet potato pie was off the chain; perfectly made in every way. The cucumber lemonade was very refreshing and had the right balance of sweetness with a little bit of tartness. This is my official go-to spot for any kind of pie.

You will not be disappointed. I have tried to gate keep this place for a while now. Solid 10/10This is place is more of a grab n go---open for walk ins Fri-Sun. The rest of the week is pre-orders only. Lots of rotating pies flavors and tarts to choose from. Their signature is the jumble-berry. They also sell take home pies like chicken pot pies and shepherds pie. Both delicious and the right amount of flaky. My absolute favorite thing to order here is the PIE MILKSHAKE. You can mix and match your choice of pie and ice cream (Gunther's). I prefer buttermilk ice cream and jumble-berry pie. Just the right sweetness and you get chunks of pie every now and then. I'm ashamed how often I crave this.

I was so excited to try a few pies that they advertised & from good reviews. Unfortunately at a few hours before they close, there was 1 slice of chocolate pie & 3 small meat piesSo yea I am disappointed or should have called and see what was in stock before driving 45 min to get here? My thinking is Not having to call when the business specializes in Pies but only had that much to offer 3 hours before closing time.Perhaps if I am near Broadway, I would give this place another try....or maybe Did I say, I was disappointed?

Who doesn't love pie? I stopped by the Real Pie Company and all I can say is wow!! There were so many options and sadly I couldn't get them all. My wife and I decided to try 2 pies. The Bartlett Pear & Wild Blueberry Crisp was so tasty. It had right amount of sweetness and crisp on top. The Rhubarb & Raspberry Pie was tart and the crust was flaky and delicious. The employees were nice and friendly and offered us utensils and napkins when I got my order. They did have a surcharge when using your credit/debit card which sucks. I'll be back again to for more pie!!!
