BRING YOUR OWN GOLF CART! The carts are unbearably slow... not sure why they would have them turned down so slow. The course was not bad for late August in the Sacramento area but the cart situation should causes a single star. The monthly price is not bad but the drive would not be ideal unless you live in Folsom, Rancho Marietta or Eldorado Hills. Practice greens are much faster than course conditions. Mixed feelings because our round was so slow due to the cart and the members. Staff in the snack shack was extremely friendly, pro shop not so much. Pro shop is very well stocked. Driving range has a 240 max to the fence, last measurable pin is 200.

I had the honor of visiting Rancho Murieta country club for a women's sisterhood event. It was my first time coming to the country club and was very impressed with how clean the event center was. The staff was very professional and very helpful when I got lost trying to find the meeting room we were meeting at. The food was also very delicious. I would definitely come back here again.

Rancho Murieta Country Club is a great place to play golf. Membership costs are very reasonable, especially if you consider you get two great courses and great practice facilities. Free range balls with membership. I can get out and play almost any evening without waiting. And what's really nice, I can play 18 or just a few depending the time I have to play. Brian ( head pro) and his staff are always friendly and eager to help. I'm so happy this place stayed open during Covid

I have now played at the Rancho Murieta County Club three times. The first time was during a Golfmoose.com member for a day event. I had a poor outing that day but enjoyed the North course. Fortunately Golfmoose was then able to offer up regularly discounted vouchers for open play so I decided that I would like to try out the South course. While I found the South course easier, my twosome came under fire by one of their members while we were trying to let them play through of all things. My playing partner was just coming back from a torn Achilles and was having issues when he yelled at us and gave us the "we're members here" speech. Yeah, well "F U and your membership! Then today since I had another voucher to use we went back to the North course. Things started off on the wrong foot as they apparently didn't write my reservation in and made me feel like I was lucky that they could squeeze us in. Conditions weren't perfect, but playable. My biggest issue was again with their members. This time because we had caught up to a group of seven members all on the 11th green and then again on the 12th tee box. No body waved us up, so we ended up just driving pass them to the 13th.I don't have a major issue with the course (Pete the marshal is a nice guy) but the members must think they're above proper etiquette and are untitled.

Wow. I grew up here 35 years ago and my parents still live here. Let me start by saying the community is fabulous. We went golfing on the south course. It was awful!! Probably one of the worse courses I have played. Remind u, I golfed here when I was younger it was amazing. The rough was 4-6" deep. If u hit a ball slightly off it was lost. When they did mow all the clipping were on top of the tall grass. The sand traps were hard as a rock and after all the rain the fairway was not very green. The beverage cart came by 1 time in 4 hours. The one star is for Brian in the pro shop. He was Amazing. Super friendly and accommodating

Rancho Murieta North is NOT a fair golf test for seniors. (those 70 and older). This course is geared much more for those 55 and younger. They advertise tees for different skills and ages, but their course does not reflect that fact. Their staff and services are very nice, but best for us seniors, we pick more user friendly layout for our capabilities. Addendum to my last review and recent play. Gratified to observe greenskeeper adding tee boxes reducing yardage on South, but especially North course. Once these new tees are playable, I believe more of us 'oldsters' will return for play and/or membership.

Check in was fine, but the pro shop advised us the carts weren't completely charged. We were assured there was enough juice to make it through the round. However, one cart died between 12 and 13 and the other cart was near death. We called the pro shop but no one answered. this was about 4 pm. No one ever picked up some we had to walk and carry the clubs. Course was in pretty bad shape too. It had the feel of a mediocre muni.

Both courses offered their own set of challenges. As an avid golfer - my desire is always to find the next golf challenge! I needn't look any further tha Rancho Murieta! All aspects - from tee to green - north and south courses - provided a great experience! I will be back!

Outdated interior of the club, needs new carpet, paint, large plants, something to class it up a bit considering it's a private club. Not worth the membership as is. Golf course looks like it's seen better days...maybe a problem with irregation, I don't know. Again, not what I was expecting from a private course.

Just wanted to continue to let you know how the Rancho Murieta Country Club makes amends for their huge blunder. I believe this is a bribe. "If the--------- family is willing to remove the YELP post from May 14, 2019. The RMCC Is willing to apply an additional account adjustment in the amount of -$692.63 which would then zero out your balance.Below is the area they were to have their wedding ceremony. They started this construction the week before the wedding. Saw this for the first time when they came out for rehearsal the night before the wedding!
