Ramtown Karate

My daughter has been going for over a year and she LOVES it! They are very well organized and know the individual students well. They are super focused on instruction and keeping traditions. The owners are so easy to talk to and are great at explaining the process of progressing through different levels and belts. They truly care about providing a top notch experience and safe learning environment for all of their students. Recommend to EVERYONE!

Great place for karate. My kids having been going here for over a year. They love this place and love the staff. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. My kids have made some great new friends. They also offer a lot of fun events they can join. Very clean and great location. Even have great hours for working parents.

This is an updated review on Ramtown Karate. My 2-grade son is a student there for almost a year now and we are happy. The instructors are professional and courteous, the facilities are good, kids are learning, the prices are reasonable. If you are looking for your child to build discipline, skills and stamina while having fun, I would recommend to try this business/school.

I have been a member of Ramtown Karate for over 12 years. Both my daughters started when they were in elementary school. The classes helped us gain focus and akills that carried over into other sports and aspects of our lives. They care a lot about personal development, self respect, respect for others and health and made us feel like family. They are really positive instructors who believe training should be hard but should also be fun and done without fear of embarrassment.

Ramtown Karate is great for beginners and advanced of all ages.

This is the perfect sport for all children! My son has shown great improvement in stamina, balance, coordination and strength. Learning self defense, respect, patience, and politeness is so important! There is not another sport where a child can get all of this together! The gym is clean and well maintained. The Sensei's are kind, considerate, and enthusiastic. How can you NOT have your child experience something like this?

If I could give this place 100 stars I would. These teachers are absolutely incredible, the students are all respectful and have a ton of fun in their classes. I've been there for 11 years now and I never plan on leaving. Ramtown has given me so many opportunities in karate, in college, and in my other sports... thank you Ramtown!

I've been a student at Ramtown Karate since 2000, as have both of my children who are now 19 and 25. I've been to other karate schools and can easily say that Ramtown Karate is far superior to any other I've been to! I've seen so many schools that are quick to promote their students to Black Belt, then the students find that's all they have to offer and leave. Not so at Ramtown, acquiring a black belt there means there is much more to continue learning. The instructors are friendly, knowledgable and enthusiastic. It's a great family atmosphere and I think most students there really do feel a sense of "family". I particularly like the self-defense curriculum and appreciate the fact that they offer free self-defense workshops to the community a few times each year.

My son has been training at Ramtown Karate for 3 years and has advanced in belts, gotten his body in shape, learned respect for others, learned self defense,made friends and more. The instructors know their stuff and make learning fun. My son is also on the competition team and we travel to tournaments and it has been a great experience for him. In addition to the regular classes there are events all the time to participate in such as a Triathalon, Board Breaking, 1,000 Kicks, Buddy Week, and lots more. Ramtown Karate also offers classes for adults. I started doing karate a year ago which is something I would have thought I would never do but I am enjoying it!!! The dojo is clean and everyone is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Ramtown Karate!!!

My son loves this place! they help teach the children discipline. Sensei Ben has trained with many pro MMA guys too so his skill set is great. School is very nice too they have a half cage also.
