Raku Sushi

I always have a good time when I come here. I've been a frequent here from before they were in this building. All I can say is that I've enjoyed them back then, and I still enjoy them now.The reason I like this place is because when I have a craving for Sushi, I know I'm gonna get my fill every time. I've tried most of the items on the dinner menu (which I'm kinda surprised the price jacked up so much...), but that's only because you get to eat as much as you want. I'm a big eater, so putting down at least 50 rolls is light work.The place is casual, but I've seen people come in dressed up as well. Pretty chill spot but the seats are a little uncomfortable. I think they do that on purpose so people don't spend too long in there lol.The service was good. It was completely full in there, but the workers were able to get the food out quickly.All of the rolls were amazing, fresh, tasty, and presentable. I just really love this place!I'll be back again in a while. I got my sushi fix lol.

Want to get your money's worth for AYCE Sushi in Sacramento?? This is probably the best spot to do it. Also they have fast and great service. The ambiance is good and has cute small booths for two people. Lunch time is only $20/Per Person. This sushi spot is located in a small strip mall. Doesn't look like much but when you go inside, it definitely has a better vibe than what's going on outside. The service is good, they check on you pretty frequently to take your orders. I've come here about 3 times and on the third visit I had their cucumber salad from stage salad bar and it was extremely bitter it was inedible. Maybe it was a bad batch? After that experience, I got turned off... it made me question the quality of the rest of their food. Sadly, I'm not sure I'll be returning.

First of all I am not a sushi fan , I met my client there at her request . I just ordered an appetizer so we could chat while she ate . Due to work regulations we had to have separate checks which I explained to the server, she immediately got an attitude and kept telling me that I could not eat anything that my client ordered because of the all you eat policy with sharing ! She was very rude when explaining something I already knew, and had absolutely no problem with! .. The food was decent and the all you can eat is reasonably priced, however I wouldn't go back .. Service is everything to me and this place gives good service to whom they choose, when everyone that patronizes their business should receive! The place is noisy with outdated decor ! So if the food and service is not on point why should anyone come back ....

We were properly welcomed in. The waiter and service was super friendly. The restaurant was prestine and the bathrooms. The food was delicious, we had low expectations because ayce sushi isn't always good but this place was REALLY good. The sushi here tasted fresh and yummy. We were proved wrong and now we won't judge a book by its cover. Definitely will be coming back to eat here again.

The food was awesome so delicious place is clean and service is always wonderful this is my 2nd time coming. This is gonna be my regular place to come too!!!

This review is for delivery/take out but after reading more reviews I will definitely have to head back in for their AYCE option in person to try it out.My husband decided to surprise me by ordering sushi from DoorDash on a rainy night and ended up trying Raku since it had good ratings and we hadn't tried it before. Another reason to check Yelp first because we would have known that they're more of a dine in AYCE spot.We ordered the R11. Dragon Roll ($14), R1. Rainbow Roll ($12), M36. Tekka Maki ($8), Wasabi Hamachi ($11) and R65. Bob's ($15). The actual process of ordering and receiving our food from DoorDash was smooth and the timing estimated was correct. The food did get a bit jostled during transport which is expected from delivery. I took everything out and re-plated it to snap some photos. I noticed right away that there weren't a lot of sauces or masago on the rolls and some of the sauces were just ok. An example of this was the Wasabi Hamachi that didn't have very much masago on it and the wasabi sauce wasn't great.The Tekka Maki wasn't my favorite, when it's just the tuna, rice and seaweed you can taste everything and tell if it's super fresh and quality or not.I would say out of all the rolls the Bob's roll and Rainbow Roll were my favorites.While my take-out experience was just ok, I would go back to try the AYCE option which from the reviews seems worth it.
