Pushkin’s Bakery & Cafe - Roseville

Generally speaking I like this place and I'm very happy to see a bakery catering to gluten free needs, but as someone who also cannot consume eggs I feel like I should point out that the vegan offerings tend to leave me feeling a bit off. I'm not sure if there's cross contamination happening or if it's something else but as the whole bakery is gluten free that can't be the issue. This is the second time I've tried the vegan/gluten free pastries and had a less than stellar outcome. Nothing major but if anyone has severe issues it might be a good idea to pass these up.

First time to this version of Pushkin's (we've been to the "original" and to Sibling), and we were not disappointed. The staff member helping us order was super chill, knowledgeable and very helpful. Girlfriend had one of the "sandos" (don't ask me which one, I forget haha!), and I the waffle with fruit. Both were great!Nice original coffee drinks, too. We were there early on a Saturday morning so it was pretty quiet; the cafe set up is really nice. Great overall experience--food, service, vibe, all excellent!

Fantastic restaurant with the most delicious fresh gluten-free products. The selection is impressive quality ingredients are used, and the flavor is awesome I highly recommend this place Bon appétit

Happy Birthday, Mom! We came in today because we are eating better, and what better place to come to than Pushkin's Bakery & Cafe?! They have delicious looking sandwiches and a bakery that is gluten & dairy free!! **It is important to know some of the sandwich ingredients do include dairy and you can request to leave it off (like cream cheese on my sandwich) We walked towards the front and checked out the menu above the employees and bakery. When we ordered, everyone was very nice and helpful. My mom went with the turkey bacon sandwich and I went with the smoked avocado (it has salmon!!) and fries to share. They wished her a HBD and gave her a free cupcake! She chose a chocolate cupcake with white frosting and a slice of strawberry on it. It was gorgeous!Since it gets busy here, it took about 15 minutes to get our food. Looking lip smackin good we dove into the fries first. Those were cold (so disappointing because the order took some time), but the flavor was good. Their ranch and chipotle mayo was nice to dip into. Our sandwiches were delicious! My mother really enjoyed her turkey, bacon, avocado. I liked the combination in my smoked avocado sandwich, but with all the soft ingredients, every bite squished out. Next time, I would double up on the salmon because I want to taste it more. It was still good! The cream cheese on it was a good compliment with the avocado and smoked salmon. It gets pretty loud in here due to being busy and everyone's voices echoing. It is full of tables and chairs and bench seats. There is also outdoor seating available. They were so packed it was hard to find a clean table. They were mostly dirty if they were available. There are so many choices for food and the bakery, I can't wait to try something else (and not the fries!!!)

I was happy to pop into this location on our way home from Truckee. I tried the breakfast sandwich and was very satisfied and filled up. I was off sugar when I visited so I didn't try anything else (I've been to the main location maany times though), but next time I will!

Cute cafe in Roseville. Plenty of parking in the shopping center. You walk up in line to the left upon entering the front door to order. There's the menu and also the pastries along the counter. You just order from what is presented. You can also order from the menu. Likely best to pay with credit card because they don't have much change if paying cash. You can dine in or take to go. The Zucchini bread was absolutely delicious. The staff was friendly and very helpful to get the change that was paid in cash.

I have lived in Roseville for 4 years, and this is the second time I've been to pushkins. I eat vegan, but not gluten-free.The first time I came, we sat on the patio, and ordered 2 vegan sandwiches from the lunch menu. The second time, we came for brunch and ordered 2 vegan sandwiches from the brunch menu. I was shocked that the prices for the sandwiches had basically doubled in 4 years.I didn't my sandwich. The sausage in my sandwich was not good at all, the sandwich was super dry and looked like they had left off the condiments completely. I ended up giving my sandwich to partner to eat. But the bread is good, considering it's gluten free.The staff are super nice and friendly, and I like that they have water for you to help yourself to.I probably won't go back, even though I do appreciate that they have vegan items and vegan baked goods.

Always delicious! Being vegan makes it difficult to eat when out and about. Pushkin's has a fabulous vegan menu with dessert options as well. I usually order the herbivore delight, but tried the vegan spicy grilled cheese today and wasn't disappointed. The service is always 5 star, as the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. The ambience is sunshiny and loud. They're always so busy, you sometimes have to wait for a table, but it is absolutely worth the wait.

What a great bakery!! The entirety of their product is gluten-free. So nice for those who need, or prefer, to maintain that diet.And, everything looks amazing. There's a wonderful selection of baked goods, from cupcakes to small cakes, cookies, and many other delicious looking things.Located in a shopping complex near the Roseville Galleria it's convenient, with plenty if parking.We opted for some cupcakes to bring to friends, and a couple of small orange cardamon glazed cakes for breakfast.Everything was delicious, although I detected an emphasis of sugar in the frosting on the cupcakes... hey, you can't have good stuff without some of the bad too.Service was friendly and efficient. The place is super clean and plenty of seating for eating in too.Initially, I found the store layout a bit confusing, yet admittedly I should have paid better attention before bolting for the goodies in the counters. It is hard to scope out the available products if you merely get in line. Oh well.I encourage everyone to give this place a tryIt's admirable that they cater to a segment of the population on gluten-free diets that truly can appreciate it. We all can too.

For not being 100% vegan, they have a decent selection of vegan foods. The desserts change all the time and will state vegan. Even the mint cupcake was delicious and I'm not a mint person. I loved #4, vegan sausage, just egg, maple syrup, spinach. My favorite sandwich was with tofu, so good! The pics speak for themselves. Friendly staff and it's always nice and clean.
