The reviews and photos are on point for Prime Wok Express - big servings, your order is cooked fresh, and food is absolutely delicious unlike plenty of other Chinese spots we've had for fast to-go service. Best advice? Call ahead of time to pick up as this place gets rather busy and rightfully so! No "special" twist with their freshly cooked Chinese food selections. Just good'ol traditional simple Chinese food to have your taste buds do the fandango dance (if that's even a dance). Ambiance is precisely what is should be - feels like a wonderful spot with hard working staff that provided fantastic service as promptly as possible. This is our new baseline for Chinese food in the Roseville-Rocklin area. Going to be hard to beat! My favorite so far is their General Tsao's chicken - tasty, delicious, just the right amount of spice! Passing on cheese wonton next time since their crab cheese wonton is just that much better. Yum! Fried rice and chow mein were soooo sooo good. Not too salty, not too bland, and juuuust right. Service was great, no complaints at all. Might try their eggplant with garlic sauce next time - pics don't do this place justice.Highly recommended to fulfill your Chinese food cravings! I'm sure locals knew about this spot already. Having recently moved to Roseville, we're ecstatic to find out what locals already knew. This hole in the wall is an absolute diamond!

We expected a Chinese Restaurant with table service! NOPE! Everything is packed "to go". We asked for plates and utensils and received two small paper plates and two tiny plastic forks. It was awkward to dish our "to go" containers onto the paper plates with only the two tiny plastic forks. If you are looking for takeout, perhaps this would be a good choice, but no where did I see that table service was not available, or we wold have gone to a true sit down restaurant. And... no hot tea! That should have been my first clue! Only canned/bottled beverages from a cooler. Not what we expected, at all!

I ordered via Door Dash for me and my grandson. We were both pleasantly surprised by the size of the dishes - enough for two+ meals. He had orange chicken with chow mein and I had Kung Pao tofu with chow mein and we both agreed they were delicious. I also had the veggie spring rolls and crab cheese wontons - they were just ok.

MUST TRY! We've passed this place a handful of times on our way to a taphouse and I'm so sad that we hadn't tried this place sooner. The place is not well suited for a sit down meal. They have tables but the food is packaged to go, plastic utensils, wooden chopsticks. We stopped in on a Wednesday around 6pm and it was BUSY with in person orders and to-go orders. The staff isn't overly friendly but they are extremely efficient. We ordered 4 plates (Chow Mein, Orange Chicken, General Chicken, and Honey Glazed Chicken) and Veggie Egg Rolls. EVERYTHING was delicious, great quality, and large portions for a reasonable price. PARKING: They have a shared parking lot but you won't have any problems finding a spot. BEER/WINE: No options in house but there's a tap house a few steps away.

Prime Wok gives the most generous servings and the food is absolutely delicious! The orange chicken with fried rice is my favorite and I always have enough leftovers for 1-2 other meals. The service is fast and staff always so friendly.

Woah! This is a our go to Chinese food spot from now on. We engaged in our new Christmas Eve tradition of having Chinese food and were surprised to see how many others had the same idea. There were about 20 people waiting for their takeout. Despite the business, the employees were all very kind and welcoming. Although we had to wait a little bit, it was worth it! The portions were huge, the food was steaming hot, flavorful, and salty! Just like we like our Chinese food. Definitely recommend getting the crab cheese wontons too, wish I had ordered more!

Overall, I give this place a 3.5.Got some takeout for dinner on a Monday night. Customer service for the phone order and pick up was standard. We ordered a la carte Orange Chicken, General Tsao Chicken, and House Fried Rice. We were surprised to hear it would be ready so quickly in 5-10 minutes. Reviews tout the generous portion sizes, but we were still in shock at the weight of our order! So much chicken & so much steamed rice!!! The fried rice completely filled the container and was molded into the shape of the lid! We seriously weighed the fried rice and it was over 3.5 pounds! The food was good and satisfying. There were lots of nicely cooked proteins in the rice, but it would have been nice to find more veggies too. The chicken dishes weren't over battered. However, the sauces were mild tasting & looser in consistency (versus being more like glazes that coat the meat, which I prefer).

It was raining hard, friends were over, and we were hungry for some dinner. We decided to get take-out and have it delivered. Yes, it is a hefty upcharge for delivery, like anywhere, but it is worth the convenience. We also decided on Chinese, but frankly in our opinion there are very few quality places around these parts. After seeing reviews for this place, we decided to try it, and we're glad we did.The menu is quite extensive, yet you soon realize that there are the same variations of dishes for chicken, pork, beef, and shrimp, with some exceptions. One of us does not eat pork, and another can't eat spicy (not me), but we were able to still make a good selection to satisfy everyone. We decided on the largest 'family style' order, 4 entree choices, one side, and rice. For the entrees, we got chicken and veggie, basil chicken (spicy), black bean beef, and green been shrimp. For the side, chow mein. This appears to be a fast food, order at the counter type establishment, and family owned, apparently not a chain. The quality of everything was surprisingly very good, and the green bean shrimp a standout with everyone. The shrimp were lightly coated and succulent. All of the vegetables used in each dish were very fresh and perfectly cooked. Everything was flavorful and not greasy. The spice level was not as intense in the basil chicken as I would like it, but I should have asked for extra spice. The noodles in the chow mein were so delicious and flavorful I could have eaten that alone, lightly sauced with onions. We were both surprised and very pleased, plus the fact that the portions are enormous. There were two containers of each dish. The delivery went so smoothly, and everything arrived in time, well packaged, and boxed. One thing is for certain, I will go to this restaurant again for Chinese food.

Everything was wonderful! From the staff, the food and restaurant. It's very clean, which is #1 for me. I'm a germaphobic. I'm part Chinese so I can critique the food. IT'S EXCELLENT! I wish I would've known about this place sooner. I could have saved the gas driving down to South Sacramento. The restaurant is a hidden gem. If it were closer to the main street, it wouldn't shock me if they had lines out their doors. I highly recommend this Chinese restaurant.
