A true hidden gem for a quick lunch spot. You absolutely get your money's worth here! Order at the counter service, self-serve drinks and condiment bar (including pickles, pepperoncinis, and pickled jalapeños).Great menu selection from salads, cold sandwiches, hot sandwiches, and even salad filled sandwiches.

Ambiance:It's very comfortable and there are TVs to catch that game. Service:The staff seem friendly enough; nothing that sets them apart from other restaurants. Food: I tried the Tri-tip sandwhich. The bread is awesome and the reason they call it the Pocket Deli. The Tri-tip was more like roast beef thinly sliced. Not what I think of when I think of a tri-tip sandwich. Just so so.

Hidden in a parking lot this place is very delicious. The service was quick and pleasant. They had plenty of tables to sit and enjoy. If I'm in the area I would return.

I liked it. Parking is a bit tight during lunch but the parking lot extends around the back and there's usually a spot there if it's full upfront. Bigger place inside than I thought. From the parking lot, you enter in the front lefthand corner. Large menu and temping chip bags as you wait in line to place your order. I tried the tri-tip pocket panini. I added some lettuce to try to be a little healthy. The pocket pita bread and huge! Very good sized pocket with a decent amount of meat. I liked the flavor but think I will try something different next time. There's one tall table at the end so I sat there to look at everyone else's food choice. Does look like you can eat here many times a week and not get tired. Will definitely try it when I'm back in the area. Fountain drink dispenser so you can choose what you want, other non-carbonated choices as well. Worth a shot and...enjoy!!!

Pocket Deli has the most tasty, soft bread. The ingredients they fill the bread with is fresh & delicious. The owner is always so friendly & helpful & really loves being here. You can tell in the food & the details that are everywhere you look. The employees are friendly, the menu has so many options, and the vibe is so very perfect for a lunch with family or friends.

Not only are the fresh deli pockets are delicious they are huge! I never anticipate to finish them but they're so tasty I finish it all! The service is always so wonderful and everyone is kind. My team often chooses to lunch here. It's very welcoming and the music is always great, providing a great get away from work.

Business was huge. Staff was super welcoming. There were two of us and the sandwich that we had ordered was huge, enough for 2 people. The bread was a little soft for my taste, would have been better if it had a crispier crust on the outside. Also, since it was a pocket, the meat did not go all of the way to the bottom of the pocket so there were a couple of bites with no filling. Overall the food was good, restaurant seemed clean and the staff was super nice.

I remember going to this place when it was down the street from where it is now. The parking is horrible now. It has very few spots which is really bad. I parked by Taco bell. The place is clean and new looking. I am not sure how long they have had the new location. It is a good size for a sandwich shop. The unique thing is their bread. It is so soft and fresh. I really like it. I got the hot pastrami and it was really good. A nice place to eat. It was around 12 bucks.

Wow! To say this sandwich joint is awesome is an understatement. These are literally the best sandwiches we have ever had. The unique pocket bread is delicious and ingenious! The sandwiches were loaded with meat, cheese, and veggies. And the spicy mayo, was great! The staff we interacted with were very friendly. The place was packed for a Friday at noon. The staff is super efficient and the food came quickly. The biggest bonus as an over the mountain vistior, my favorite brewery in Sac, Burning Barrel is next door for drinks to go with these amazing sandwiches. We will absolutely be back!

We love the pocket deli. Everything we have tried is delicious. My husband loves the lean pastrami and I love the Italian sandwich. The pocket bread is unique and so tasty.
