Plumas Lake Golf and Country Club

They just got new golf cars, have a store, a restaurant and bar. Parking is very easy and convenient. Prices are fair. Staff are SUPER friendly. It's always a good experience when we go. We appreciate the staff, good food, and bar! Very clean restrooms are always an added bonus

I have been golfing at Plumas Lake GC for over four years. Lately, the course had fallen into disrepair. Recently, a new course management company took over. Thank you!! The rough has been mowed, trees trimmed, sprinklers turned on, and the greens are in very good shape. I like the course because it is remote and away from city noise. There is enough to make it a challenge with trees, water, and a few hills. Overall, I like the course and highly recommend it. Also, after the round, I had a chicken wrap with a beer, and they were terrific.

5 stars, good lithium powered golf carts. The pro shop is competitively priced and the course has great big fairways. Normally busy in the morning I wish they would spread the t time out more than 7 mins... most of the players here take about 15 mins a hole.. so it gets backed up easily... not to account the walkers that make it even slower... if you are walking the times should be 25 mins a hole t time

The front 9 holes are really nice! It's a good mix of pars. Their restaurant is closed for now and they have a snack bar open. The hotdog is really good! It's nice that your course fee also includes a golf cart.

Nice hidden gem located in Plumas Lake near the river levy. I just so happened to see a sign on the side of the road about this specific country club so I had to check it out for myself. One afternoon I went over to enjoy a cocktail and investigate the grounds. The prices seem a tad bit high but the location is lovely and the golf course seemed very well kept. The staff were friendly, there was ample free parking, and all the shops were clean and tidy. I will definitely be back here again.

Not a bad spot. Quiet, average course, outside of the huddle and bissle of a city. I'm interested to see what it looks like when the new owners take the reigns.

I love this course. It is my go to course. Prices are reasonable and in the summer I can go out at 5 and get 10-12 holes in before dark. Just don't order a breakfast burrito from the restaurant. It took 30 plus minutes to get it and the guy inside said to us "next time you should call from the 9th tee". I had to remind him that the front 9 was closed and we were told to play the back 9 twice.

This course has improved A LOT in just the few weeks of new ownership. Definitely worth checking out!

Played Plumas lakes for the first time today. It is a great course with well maintained tee boxes, fairways and greens, and friendly staff. Will definitely be going back to play again soon!

Have been a regular at this course for years. Seen it through some bad times. Friday after Thanksgiving is an unusual day but come on guys. Plumas Lake over booked the Tee times. Got there 1 hour early and was told they didn't have any carts. I waited 2 1/2 hours and was told sorry they still didn't have carts and there were 3 more groups ahead of me even though my Tee time was 1 hour before. I had to ask for a refund and tell my family that was from out of town that we couldn't go golfing. This is a sad day for me to write this review but these guys are obviously more interested in profits than customer service. It will be a long time before I return.
