Playfields Park

Could have sworn I'd reviewed this place before as I've been around it since around 1998. But anyways...It's a fairly big park which had tons of grass but a lot of that got removed when the soccer field was installed. It's now artificial turf and there are gates to keep the riff raff out. Anywho, In-N-Out had nowhere to eat, so I brought my Mom here. There are a number of tables and luckily there are a number of groups of tables as well for social distancing's sake. Also brought my dog who thoroughly enjoyed the open space. Pretty sure pandemic rules do not allow sports to be played at this time. Well, hope this review doesn't get deleted as well!

I work nearby and come for walks on breaks/lunches occasionally. They have Pokestops and gyms around like most parks do which motivates me to come peruse the parks for Pokemon while at the same stretching my legs from my desk job. I've met my boyfriend for lunch here also and it was nice and quiet. Bathrooms are also surprisingly clean and park is always well kept. You don't see much trash around which is a big plus.

Wonderful fields, clean bathrooms, good snack bar, plenty of shade.My son's 14U baseball team played at several different parks in the area and man it gets hot in Woodland/Sacramento. It was nice to find some relief from the sun! Personally, I liked the concrete steps/seats....The dugouts were nice as well.Gotta love me some baseball...

Immaculate park, the best softball fields I've seen yet. So much shade around the bleachers and speaking of bleachers, they are completely concrete. No dingy looking bleacher seats, where you have to bring your own padding. Huge parking lots, and nearby hotels to choose from. I don't like to drive 30 miles outside of SF without spending the night during tournament weekends. Travel ball is serious stuff, I will hate when we have to go out of State and really travel. Besides the heat almost giving me a heat stroke in Davis, I'd request all tournaments to be played here - not going to happen.

Fields are in great shape. Excellent snack bar and clean bathrooms.

Fields are GREAT! The batting cages are SORRY! Wish they would invest a little bit in the batting cages,what a waste!
