Placita MX

I'm sad I only discovered Placita MX right as I moved out of Sacramento. This is such a cute and much-needed cultural space for local Mexican artists! It may look small from the entrance, but Placita MX has several shops and a courtyard inside! They also have events every so often that I wasn't able to attend before moving, but sounded so fun.Every shop in Placita MX is unique and the items are well-made. My favorite shop is My Sticky Shop where I bought my favorite scrunchie and tote bag that I use almost every day. I also bought a pan dulce coin purse, flower earrings from Arte Sumac, stickers and mugs for my cousins, and a robe for my great-aunt. As you can see from my uploaded pictures, there are so many different offerings and this is even a great place to walk around, window shop, and explore more of Mexican culture.
