Placer Nature Center

I came here on 4/26/15 for my daughter's Nature Bowl Competition. What an amazing day! The volunteers that work here are soooooo good with kids! I feel like learning should be FUN! THEY'VE HIT THAT RIGHT ON!There is so much to explore asks so much more I would love to see!Thank you!

What a wonderful place! We have had 2 birthday parties here that have been amazing successes. Check out their calendar of events...they always have something going on! Also, say Hi to Josena! She is an amazingly dedicated person who does a wonderful job of teaching and involving the kids in nature.

Wonderful place to take your kids for a few hours of nature! Placer Nature Center is a secret that needs to be spread. My kids learned so much from this place. They hiked... They learned about composting and water systems... They studied bugs... They PLAYED with nature! Make your kids unplug or power-down for a day and visit the nature center. There should be more people as dedicated and passionate as their staff... And more places like this for kids. The world would be a better place!

We absolutely love bringing our toddler here and enjoy all that they have to offer. There are a lot of extremely dated/run down aspects of it that I do wish they would update but overall a wonderful day out with awesome staff
