We like sitting at the bar when we have sushi. It's fun to see the chefs prepare the fish!Second time here and we recommend it!We were here on a Friday, and it filled in quickly. We had three tasty rolls, edamame and wine & beer. We recommend everything...we'll be back!

Had to update my review as this place has become my favorite! A lovely and expansive dining area, nice sushi bar, and really great service. The sushi chef and servers here are very good and I am treated like family. They've come to know what I like and they remember small details that really sets them apart. I love becoming a regular and being treated well when I go out. For example, I always ask for a side of tuna steak sauce and sliced jalapeños (spice nut over here) and now they just bring it without my request! The food is great, the fish is very fresh every time, which is a non-negotiable when it comes to sushi (or any seafood, period). My favorite dishes include the Nine One One roll (spicy tuna with jalapeños, simple but it hits) the chirashi (mixed sliced filets of various raw fish over rice with garnishments of shredded daikon radish, micrograms and seaweed salad, my absolute fav but I'm into raw fish), Thomas Train roll and the mixed sushi dish (nigiri; sliced sashimi over a bite of rice). I tend toward more traditional and simple sushi dishes, so I'm also a big fan of the tekka maki. They are having a promotion right now with discount's of up to 50% off on half of their menu options, so it's a great time to stop in.

YUM!!! We had lunch here today - the chicken teriyaki bento box came with gyoza, rock shrimp, salad, and veggie tempura (tons of delicious food for a great price)! We also had the Yummy Yummy 2 and Rocklin 2 and both were great! The tempura shrimp is freshly made and the quality! Service was also wonderful! 10/10

I am new to town and was looking for a fun family - styled sushi place. The staff are really welcoming. They gave great recommendations on favorites as well. The ambiance is comforting too. The sushi is good and I like the cucumber salad. I will be back.

Been on a sushi kick so the family decided to try this one out. The decor and ambiance was pleasant and welcoming. We were greeted immediately and very friendly staff. Service was excellent throughout the evening. We all ordered different rolls and all of them were tasty. Daughter begged to have a second roll which didn't disappoint. Friend recommended the place and we're glad we visited. I see us returning again soon.

I really enjoyed the sushi here! The appetizer sampler was great, with gyoza, edamame, stuffed mushrooms. We tried a variety of their rolls, including the titanic roll and the PK1 roll, all of which were delicious and very flavorful and fresh.

This is my third time at PK and it's just average food with great service. However, you typically don't go to a sushi restaurant for the service. You go for the fish and food. Tonight the red tuna was almost frozen and no flavor. I had sashimi and it was bland. 6 pieces for 20 dollars. The shrimp tempura was more like a fish stick. Overall it's average food. I think nugget grocery store has better sushi. I don't think I am going back. Great people and kind, but not worth the price.

I was trying to make a reservation and I was asking and they refused to answer me and I sat there for about 30 seconds and they immediately hanged up on me. This is the worst place on earth do not go to place. I recommend not going at all.

This isn't my first time coming to PK sushi, it has always been a pleasant experience, time after time. I am ALWAYS greeted with a warm welcome, always receive quality food for a a reasonable price. I was always willing to pay the price for the quality of food I was receiving. However, while restaurants and retailers across the industry have been increasing prices, PK sushi has taken it upon themselves to update their menu with price drops. Yes, they have now lowered their prices, as if it wasn't a good deal already. I have been and always will be a customer for life.
