Pizza Lovers Sacramento

Pizza Lovers Sac is my go to spot for wood fire pizza! Much different from other pizza spots like Mountain Mikes or Round Table, Pizza Lovers Sac has an authentic taste that transports you to Naples. I love how they have a way to pre order their pizzas through text or calling at (279)-289-9177 because they tend to get really busy! Also, this is a food truck/trailer which is typically located on Elk Grove blvd but are always at the farmers markets, events and breweries throughout Sacramento and Elk Grove area. I would say to follow them on instagram (@_pizzaloverssac_) as they post their menu and location regularly. I would recommend to go with the classic pepperoni and then try the other flavors but realistically if you love pizza you can't go wrong with either of their options. They also just incorporated a Detroit style pizza which I cannot wait to try!

Went to the Lantern festival in Sacramento and decided on getting pizza. This pizza really is SOOOOOOOO GOOOOOOOD! Super fresh and super tasty. Would love to get pizza here again.

If you want a wood fire pizza you can't go wrong here. I've had almost every pizza here. I wasn't sure about the Caliente pizza because honey on pizza doesn't sound good to me. But it ended up being the most memorable and delicious.

I was searching Yelp for my typical pizza takeout places and tripped over this traveling pizza show that only had a handful of reviews. Wood fired? Neapolitan? I'm there.They were scheduled for District 56 in Elk Grove, so I rushed over (just 5 minutes away). Nice compact menu, quick tap to pay, and less than a ten-minute wait for a fresh hot pizza. Seems like an efficient upbeat business, but the 3 workers had only a few orders while we were there.The pizza arrived with a tasty, slightly-charred crust, and was slipped into a colorful box for the trip home. We had the soprasetta that included dollops of ricotta and a few fresh basil leaves. I didn't realize that the pizza is finished with a honey sauce. Much too sweet for me, though the other suburbanites might favor this addition. I wish it was a choice to add, rather than a necessity to omit.There are lots of ways to make very good pizza; this is among them. I might fault the crust for being a bit too stretchy, the careless placement of the basil leaves, the sweet after-dressing. But I'm glad to have pizza of this quality made with a personal touch.I'll be back. I loved the whole experience, even down to the smell of wood smoke in the air.

I love this pizza and have had it before, but today wasn't their best. Pizza was lacking cheese and toppings, I ordered the sopresatta pizza, and it was really sad as it barely had any salami or cheese. It was also missing the oregano. If they run out of toppings they should tell you upfront or stop selling all together.

Had their chicken Alfredo pizza after a Costco trip. It was bomb. Crispy edges, chewy inside, perfect layer of toppings and fresh out the oven. The staff were amazing and quick. Friendly staff good pizza what more a girl needs

Great Customer Service. I order the chicken garlic pizza. It was delicious and the pizza dough was very soft. Ambiance was customer friendly.

Saw the truck there off EG Blvd. Stopped, ordered two pizzas and 10 minutes later they were done! Got home, had my chicken/jalepeno pizza, wife had the Margarita Pizza - both were delicious!! Great spot!

I've ordered three times. First time, excellent. Second time, over-cooked and very dry. Today, forgot tomato sauce and hot honey on spicy soppresatta.For price, would expect better consistency.
