Pioneer Park

Want to take your child to space? Watch as they board a rocket ship or space vehicle and you won't be able to resist joining them! This is the perfect park if your little one loves playing pretend like our 6 year old! It has 2 playgrounds and a swing set as well! It was the best park we've been too! Why minus a star than? It's in a neighborhood, so I understand about the lack of restrooms, but an older kid warned me about inappropriate drawings as we went up the rocket ship to go down the slide. Something the park should look into removing, other than that it's an amazing park that we will be returning to in the near future! Happy Earth Month!

Came here on 3/7 with my beautiful wife and daughter to see the "space themed" park off of Verner Ave in Sacramento, CA. From rocket ships playgrounds to small ship and space rover, this park also has two baseball fields and lots of picnic tables, benches, and barbecue stands. One star deduction is for the lack of restrooms but this is little park in the Foothill Farms neighborhood. My daughter enjoyed this park.

Came here with my son. And we quickly left. Homeless men were on the very top of the play structure. Whether they were sleeping or not, it did not feel safe.

We absolutely loved this park! Such a cute design with being space themed! The rocket is really cute and full of sensory exploration. There's so many things to push, spin and turn. Great for active mind! The second floor of the rocket leads to a large tunnel slide. It's definitely catered to bigger kids who can climb up the latter!There are two really cool spaceships in the bark area. One let's you "be the captain" while aboard. There are also a lot of intriguing activities on the walls. The second spaceship rocks around when you are on it. So fun! There is a separate play structure that has some workout activities, slides and things to climb. I wish they had a structure or at least part of it that was a little more toddler friendly. There are swings for infants and older kids. There is a nice grassy area.Cons:The neighborhood is okay, could be better!

Cute little park that's less questionable than the one closest to our neighborhood. The one by our house has a lot of bums that camp out here but I didn't see any here, not this evening at least.
