Pine Lodge Club

I don't post often or review often but I feel I have to. My husband and I have a cabin up here. We often travel from the Bay Area to Tahoe and stop at Pine Lodge to see our favorite bar and visit Sly Park. The service has gone down hill. The drinks aren't as strong (It isn't that hard to make a stiff Cape Cod, and the daytime Bartender didn't even know what that was. He knew how to talk about his beef jerky he makes though.) Our favorite bartender isn't here anymore which was a disappointment . The women's bathroom was filled with trash and the place had garbage on the floor. One of the off duty bartenders was at the bar talking shit about my husband when he went to the bathroom and she thought I couldn't hear. There were cigarette butts all over the ground when we walked in and it was midday. We won't be coming in much anymore.

Idk I'm not old enough to drink, but my ma loves the place except the dog hair lady btw my mom's Ashlee but great review home town bar!!!

Justin the bartender made us feel welcome and at home. We ordered two non-alcoholic beers each, it was a great pit stop. I want to go back.

I'm under the impression that they don't serve food ..... on a regular basis. I have called a few times ..... would be wonderful if they scheduled a lunch !!!! The owner is a real nice person who we all would love to succeed

We thought the service was great.We just had chips and salsa with a very nice cocktail .

Met my second wife there. Her husband didn't approve. So we continued to meet there. What a cataclysmic nightmare. "Right next door" by Robert Cray was our favorite song!

I went in for a drink with some friends. The new owner was bartending and he's boring. Strange guy.Our neighborhood bar is gone. What a joke. I want Justin back.

I used to drink here all the time, but it's gone down hill recently. I could always guarantee a drink quick and Friday night I went in and waited five minutes for a drink while the Bartender talked with someone at the end of the bar. Then she came over very friendly like I hadn't been sitting there. She even noticed me and looked away. The bartenders used to be prompt and fun. They had energy and served us well. Now they only focus on the men and don't care about women sitting alone at the bar. They also used to have food and snacks for us, that seems to have gone away. Pine Lodge has always been fun, now it feels like everyone is sad. No usual faces, just a bunch of druggies at the bar. What happened?

The bartenders are awesome, I always love chatting with them. New ownership - not so much.

Friendly place with cheap drinks. Watched 49ers game. I'll be back! Could use some food
