We got seated right away! The bartender was very friendly and welcoming. He mentioned his favorite items on the menu and did not steer us in the wrong way. We ordered the Ceviche salad, the baja shrimp and jerk chicken tacos were to die for. I would recommend coming here on a late night! It's a really vibey place :)

Came here for drinks for my 25th birthday and was completely satisfied with the drinks and food! Waiter was phenomenal and super friendly! He recommended the jerk chicken taco and costillas which were sooo good! I highly recommend going here for some drinks and good vibes!

We came here on a Monday which happened to be margarita Monday. Alejandro was our bartender who let us seat at their outside bar. He helped us figure out what to order. Hilton was great too. Today was so nice and we ended up ordering some micheladas and corn ribs. Then we ordered some aguachile verde, which Alejandro told us was a little less spicy than the red so we went with that. There is fun, colorful decor that makes you feel like you are somewhere other than Sacramento. The lighting is cool and this place is definitely a vibe. To finish we ordered the UBE margarita and a verde Vixen. We will definitely be back to try more menu items as everything sounds sooo delicious. I highly recommend and I can imagine this place getting so busy in the summer or as soon as the weather gets nicer.

Tried it for the first time 2/24/25. We ordered the small bites which on Mondays are half off. We had the coconut shrimp (just ok), guacamole, and chips (good), plantains (excellent) and all three of us had the fish tacos (excellent). The fish tacos appeared to be a few pieces of battered deep fried fish, with cabbage on top. The tacos are served à la carte, but my daughter ordered rice and beans with hers and said it was good. She also ordered the espresso martini and said it was average.We discovered on Mondays; all the margaritas are half off. Also learned on Tuesdays all the tacos are 50% off, and the size of the tacos remain the same (big tacos). Also on Tuesdays they have five dollar shots.Small indoor area but large outdoor area. They had the outdoor area enclosed with heaters; it will be a great place to hang out in the summer. The bar area is big and lots of barstools on both sides of the bar.The tab for three people on a Monday with three appetizers, a martini, and three orders of fish tacos was about $100, not bad. We will definitely be returning for taco Tuesday. It was a cute trendy place with a downtown vibe. The service was good and the later it got approximately 9:15 PM the restaurant got more crowded.

Originally came to this area for another taco place but it was closed so we stopped here for dinner. Ambiance was great and loved the outdoor seating. Tacos were so so. Maduros were interesting and we quite enjoyed. We are from the Midwest and can see how this place would be great for a gathering of friends and family. We just found the meat in our tacos a bit dry.

Came here for a simple Valentines Day lunch; wifey and I were happy we did. Host was friendly, as was our waiter Alejandro. Very seldom seen nowadays in the restaurant industry.Seated right away; fresh, not artificial, long stemmed rose on each table...nice touch! The decor was trendy; establishment was clean and spacious. Smooth Latin music was a tad loud, but it made my head hop during idle time . Restroom hallway was clean and enticing, for lack of a better term.In ordered the Al Pastor Taco; tender mini-chunks of marinated pork accompanied with fresh chopped mango/onion blend and mild green salsa. The wife had the jerk chicken taco; flavorful and tender chicken. Corn tortillas were made in-house. 50% off margaritas and appetizers on Mondays (ALL DAY), and 50% off tacos on Tuesdays (ALL DAY).We shall return without hesitation!

This review is long overdue, but I can't hold back any longer! I've visited this gem four times, and each experience has been nothing short of incredible. The atmosphere? Pure magic! The music transports me straight to a tropical paradise, making me feel like I've taken a spontaneous vacation without the airfare.If you haven't had the chance to visit, I implore you--make it a priority! Whether you're craving a sultry Latin vibe or a slice of Miami right in your neighborhood, this is the place to be. My brief stay in Miami left me longing for that energy, and this spot perfectly captures it!The food is phenomenal, but what really sets this place apart is the staff--they're absolutely fantastic! From the moment you walk in, you feel like family. I've tried nearly everything on the menu, and honestly, you can't go wrong. So come hungry and adventurous!Don't miss out on this vibrant oasis. Trust me, your taste buds and your soul will thank you!

Awesome service. Jay was awesome and was super accommodating. Just ask him for recommendations on drinks. Got a mix of specialty margaritas. Service was awesome and food was amazing.Great place to dine with your friends and hang out. Loved the ceviche! Will definitely be back. Thank you Jay & the amazing staff here.

Drinks after dinner, led us to Pig Latin for the first time finally.Stepped in the door and was promptly greeted the hostess, who escorted to a table in the back right area of the restaurant.Pig Latin was bustling with the weekend night life. Dimly light with an array of fluorescent red lighting, and popular Latin music. Pig Latin is a great place to stop in for a bite and or a drink on a weekend night.Drinks:Clasico Margarita Chili Passion Margarita Palo Santo (Signature Cocktail)Ube Margarita BatidaIt was a busy so service was a little slower than expected, and the door kept being left open; letting all of the cold Winter air in. Once multiple occasions myself and or girlfriend, had to get up to close it as we coudl feel the air where we were at. Some patrons from other tables did the same as well, and one lady thanked my girlfriend when she came back from closing the door. Eventually staff started doing it as well as our time drew closer to the end.While we did see it on the drink menu, our waiter was sure to let us know about their daily specials on Mondays and Tuesdays. Monday being 50% on tacos and Tequila shots, and Tuesday being half off on Margaritas.Overall: Drinks were really good, and my girlfriend and I enjoyed all of us. Would definitely come back to finally enjoy some food and their specials on Monday and or Tuesday.So I'll definitely have to check our Pig Latin again.

The service here was so amazing!!! Jay provided excellent service and recommended the best drinks and plates. The Mati hari is the best drink on the menu. We loved it here and will be back. The music and ambiance is so good as well.
