I saw the negative reviews and I was like ermmmmm... Let me speak... I am a snob and I don't care. I spend easily $300+ pp on omakases and travel to Japan annually. I Michelin across the globe. Aside from Vegas this is the best AYCE sushi (based on what I've heard from others who dines the way I do). Maybe there's some in LA/NY but I don't do AYCE in general or ever. This is amazing quality for AYCE especially in FOLSOM!!I have not tried a single roll here so maybe it's just different. Although the hubby has doordashed it (yes a la carte pricing). Some the the nigiris and appetizers are good enough that we pay for it a la carte too on top of AYCE (usually uni and the baked mussels). We finish most of our food but yes, there's some leftovers but you can tell we are not ordering wastefully so I have never gotten any lip about it. In fact, I was SHOOK at how little rice there is per nigiri, and usually we can't finish the hot foods and they didn't blink and eye when clearing our plates. We usually finish about 90%+ of what's ordered for fish. For some hot foods though we might only finish over half. Maybe try asking for half rolls * shrug *People need to reset some expectations... FYI we only ever do Option C (the most expensive one).

As a fellow Nevadan, I was craving AYCE sushi in California and stumbled upon Pier 50.I chose "Course B," (there's 3 different price options based on what you'd like per course) and ordered an array of different items. For appetizers, I recommend the Korean Fried Chicken and the Japanese chopped steak. The nigiri was good and can choose to have it as sashimi. The rolls were fine too, I did like the option of getting a half or full rolls. Thank you to our server for informing my table of the different options and checking in when needing to put in more orders. Not a bad option if you're looking for AYCE sushi in California!

I've been wanting to try this spot for a while, and it turned out to be a great deal for all-you-can-eat sushi. There are three options: a basic menu, one with more hand rolls, and another with premium cuts. We went with the basic option, which was perfect for us. We ended up ordering 10 sushi rolls, 3 cocktails, and 1 appetizer. Everything was outstanding, and the service was impressively quick--our rolls came out in no time. If you want to try more varieties, I highly recommend opting for half rolls instead of full rolls. This way, you can sample more options, and if you're sharing, that's two pieces each. Rolls: 10/10 - Albacore Delight - Spider Roll - Shrimp Lover - Henry - Lazy Dog - Salmon Lover - Red Dragon - Sexy Bomb - Mexico - Sun of the Beach Appetizer: 10/10 - Korean Fried Chicken Cocktails: 6/10 - Shiso-Pretty - Yuzu Blossom (ordered twice) Overall, the sushi and food were fantastic, but the cocktails didn't quite hit the same high mark. If you're looking for a great sushi experience, this place is definitely worth a visit!

Tried this spot for first time. We choose the Course C. Pretty good spot for AYCE sushi but just tried 2 kinds of sushi the spicy roll and negi hama roll for me the rice is a bit hard and dry. For sashimi's and nigiri me and my husband loves it. The uni is sweet and my favorite soft shell crabs. Tempura's are bit oily . But not bad for AYCE.. Don't forget to flip the menu ..more menus which I just check when we're full so just had dessert choice

Great service and clean restaurant! Came for lunch and did option B. All the sashimi and fish were fresh. I was surprised all the apps were really good too. There were so many app, fish, and roll options! The servers were attentive, and food came out consistently fast. Highly recommend, especially if you like getting sashimi!

Pier 50 is a great addition to the local AYCE sushi scene! It took over the location where Blue Nami used to be in the Palladio and is in a great spot to stop by before/after you're seeing a movie or doing other shopping in the area! This location is smaller than the one at Arden Mall, but less busy. We came on a Saturday night and it was nearly full but we barely had to wait before getting a table, while the estimated wait at Arden was 30 minutes. The interior is nice and feels high-end.There are 3 options for AYCE - all are for up to 100 minutes but cover a certain array of items. We did course B, which seems to be a good middle ground to have access to all sashimi/nigiri, and costs $45.95 per person. There are still a few items that are limited to one per person, but otherwise you can order as much off the menu as you want, within your course option. There's a variety of sushi and rolls, as well as other cooked items and appetizers from the kitchen to choose from. Despite it being AYCE, the quality of the fish was quite good and tasted fresh! The cuts were fairly decent-sized and were all plated beautifully. Service was also on point and our waitress would check in often to see if wanted to order anything; servers kept our table clear of dishes and waters full. Overall, it was a positive experience all-around and a great value for the price - would definitely come back again!

Love it that we have one here too. It's the same owners as ITs sushi in Roseville. I love the rice to fish ratio in the nigiri's. The fishes here are comparable to the ones at Mikuni's, except for the eel. There are 3 grades of AYCE you can pick from, I personally like B for $45-46 because C doesn't offer much more. And what it does offer is not unlimited. Love that they give out something esthetically cute for your bday. Favorite: garlic salmon sashimi, surfers clam nigiri, tako fries (fried oysters).Tip - for the Japanese steak burger ask for the sauce on the side. It comes way too saucy!Located in Palladio where Blue Nami use to be.I also follow their instagram pages to look out for deals.

Wanted to try out this new sushi place in the Palladio! Walked in, and I was seated immediately. Very friendly workers and the place feels clean and comfortable. Was honestly very impressed with the interior and their clean bathrooms!Ordered the Something Wrong #7 and the Kiss of Fire. Honestly, the rolls tasted pretty good. Good portions and everything was delivered fast. I would give this place 5 stars, but I disappointingly I ended up with a mild case of food poisoning. It wasn't severe but it was enough to bring my rating down. I'm aware that food poisoning is unlikely to get, so I'm hoping this was just a one time occurrence with this place. Everything else was great!Maybe I'll come again and order something different like their bento. I was bummed because this place is great all in all!

Pier 50 has outdone themselves again. The restaurant is conveniently located in Palladio. There's limited parking in front but there is a parking structure you could park at. I love their all you can eat option for all the sashimi and nigiri options available. Their food comes out fresh and fast which is amazing since I've been there a few times where it took over 30 minutes to receive my order. The restaurant has a good vibe to it and the tables are decently spaced out so you're not too close to anyone else.
