I think I found the best all you can eat sushi. Located close to the Arden Mall Cheescake factory is Pier 50 which I believe used to be Mikuni. A group of 3 of us decided to try this place on a Friday night. We arrived at about 6:30 and had a short 15 minute wait. Once seated some waters were brought out and our server explained the all you can eat menu. There are 3 tiers to choose from and we picked the first tier for $35/person. Basically all that means is that you can order as much of anything on the menu that's in white. There were so many things to choose from! We were told that their rolls are fish heavy as opposed to rice heavy which I really appreciated. We were also told that for the rolls we could order a whole roll which would consist of 8 pieces or a half which would be 4. That was really awesome because it allowed me to be hungry enough to try more rolls. They did also have some kitchen items so you could pick between those too, and not only rolls. I was able to try 6 different rolls and at the end I also had to finish with their lychee sorbet which has small pieces of lychee and it was the perfect size to end the meal. Our server was very nice and she was very good about coming to check on us, filling our drinks and clearing out empty plates. I think this is such a bang for your buck with the amount of food you can order.

My husband took me here for our anniversary since I've been craving sushi and everything I ordered hit the spot! We opted for package B - The octopus nigiris tasted fishy this time around but everything else was delicious! My two favorites were the Cajun salmon and the paprika salmon because of the torched fish. I love the smokiness from the torch!I forgot when they rolled out the rewards program! I highly suggest signing up as you get to apply the credits for a discount meal on your next visit! Can't wait to visit next time when I'm craving sushi!

My wife and I went to Pier 50 for lunch today and tried the All You Can Eat Course A (the white menu). The restaurant is very clean with an upscale vibe, and the prices are reasonable--what you'd expect for a sushi spot of this caliber outside of happy hour pricing.Service was great! Our waiter was an absolute sweetheart, attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Now, when it comes to the food, my wife and I have slightly different takes. I thought the sushi was excellent, exactly what I'd expect from a place like this (and we've been to several similar establishments). My wife, on the other hand, feels we've had better sushi elsewhere for a lower price. So, mixed reviews on that front.Would I return? Absolutely. My wife? Well... probably, but only because I'd drag her along. My rating: 5 starsWife's rating: 3 starsTotal: 4 stars All in all, a solid sushi spot with good service, yummy (albeit, pricey!) mocktails, and a clean, inviting atmosphere. If you're in the area and craving sushi, it's definitely worth checking out!

This sushi buffet is off the chain. The sushi was extremely fresh and flavorful. I had various sorts of nigiri: yellowtail, albacore, salmon belly, red snapper, garlic tuna. Everything was awesome. The ambience was pretty chill; and the server was very accommodative. Definitely one of the best sushi spots I've been to in the Sacramento area.

Celebrated my birthday here since we've been meaning to try this place for months. We got there early for early dinner but had to wait 30 minutes to get seated. Upon entering, we saw a lot of vacant seats so I wonder why we waited so long. The ambiance was nice for a date night. The service was mediocre. Our server didn't check up on us as often and the wait time for our food to get served was initially fast but eventually became long. It seemed like a tactic so you'll eat less by waiting for your food longer. Another annoying thing was when I asked one of their servers to take a photo of us, she literally frowned and was snobbish even though she took our photos. Like, how hard is it to take a photo and be nice about it? We opted for set B because we love eating sashimi. The salmon belly is a must try but only 1 per person is allowed. For dessert, I liked the strawberry mochi ice cream while my husband appreciated the affogato. The food was great and worth the price, albeit it being higher. It was just the service that made this experience not perfect.

First time at Pier 50 with friends who had previously gone and it definitely did not disappoint. We got there around 6:30 on a Saturday night and the wait was about half an hour so we walked over to Barnes & Noble and browsed. We were called a little bit before 30 minutes and were sat down promptly. Our server explained to us how the menu worked and we went with the B combo which included all the sushi rolls and nigiri and some apps (all white and purple writing). Our waitress was very attentive and I noticed that not all the tables were full. I presume it's to keep structure/organization and to not have your customers waiting for too long . We ordered an assortment of sashimi and rolls multiple times, bulgogi fries, corn cheese, karage chicken, shishito peppers and honestly, everything was pretty exceptional. Tasted fresh and not rushed. I will say you only have an option for one dessert which I was sad about but what can we do. lol I tried the mango mochi but next time will get affogato. Definitely going back.

I've been to Pier 50 multiple times, and it's easily one of my favorite spots--even as someone who doesn't love raw sushi! The cozy ambiance, ample seating, and the option to make reservations (only at this location) make it a great choice for any occasion. The staff is consistently kind and accommodating, and during one visit, they went above and beyond to make my friend's birthday extra special. The pricing is comparable to other AYCE sushi spots, and we always go for Course B, which has plenty to offer. Just a heads-up: if people in your group want different courses, they'll seat you at separate tables to prevent sharing. Honestly, Course B is more than enough. You don't need to splurge on Course C unless you're really going all out.For sushi lovers, the selection is fantastic. My friends rave about the freshness and variety, and the fish-to-rice ratio is amazing! The cuts of fish are generous and high quality, which is a big deal for AYCE sushi. For those who aren't fans of raw fish (like me), there are still plenty of delicious options! I'm obsessed with the eel nigiri and anything drizzled with their amazing eel sauce. The wide selection of appetizers is also a highlight! I always start with miso soup and love that you can order half rolls if you don't want a full one.

Oh my Lordy Lord. What a visit!! I think I just fell in love again . My wife and I were in the mood for eating a large amount of sushi at a given amount of time. One google search later and we found my new beloved Pier 50 .Starting off with the service, it was impecable from start to finish. From the host Shania greeting us with the upmost respect and gratitude, we were promptly seated at a comically large table (note: we are pretty fit individuals ourselves) but we appreciate the good room! We had an array of servers serving us and they were all awesome sauce !! Aslan was the main dawg, consistently putting in the work and recommending the goods. Valerie was keeping the food coming hot. And the best drink I had here was the ichigo fizz, crafted by my main man Catcher . If you come here to eat, come hungry or don't come at all . You'd want to eat everything off the menu. Some recommendations from my wife include the super white tuna, mayo scallops, and the lychee sherbet for dessert (note: my wife is never wrong so this is coming from an expert basically )After you come here, you'll fall in love too!! Thank you Pier 50, I love you.
